right, but to label everyone as the same type of racist is also a blanket statement. in those days, blacks and whites lived in completely different realities within the same state, and it wasn't exactly a harmonious co-existence.

You are highly misinformed if you're talking about the original Black Panthers. "The New Black Panthers" however have absolutely zero ties to the original group and are a bunch of pieces of shit.
The original Black Panthers was based on socialist ideology and were about CLASS warfare, not race. They worked with all groups including whites, asian's and latino's. After they were completely destroyed by COINTELPRO, sure there were a few former members who were completely lost and went aloof, doing weird and bizarre stuff, some racist. But at it's core, at it's beginning and at their height, they were a socialist organization who recognized that classism was the real problem. It was very early on ('67) they completely rejected black nationalism and focused more a "revolutionary internationalist movement". Their emphasis was a Marxist-Leninist doctrine with a lot of Maoism. This is why every Party member had to study Mao Tse-tung's "Little Red Book" to advance his or her knowledge of peoples' struggle and the revolutionary process.

we are born equal until one decides to oppress another, that's where the idealism you're projecting loses relevancy. what you're saying is very true, but it's on the verge of suggesting we should all just sit around a fire holding hands singing what a wonderful world.
ya that would be dope but you can't expect disenfranchised people to just naturally be so jolly about their prospects. we have to put more of the blame on the oppressor. It's the oppressors moral responsibility to change more so than the oppressed.

im just using ISIS as an example cuz its from my experience, i dunno much bout the panthers or the klan so i cant speak on it much)
i agree with everything ur sayin...except after whats happened in the middle east with ISIS (my most recent experience with hate in our community) is so beyond fucked up, that you couldnt kill me fast enough after you ask me to make friendly and coexist on earth with those fucking maggots
in a way, because of their actions toward my culture and my people, they have turned me into a person full of hate...its directed only at them, but its hate none the less...and its hate id be willing to act on against anyone supporting ISIS

I feel you. it's a shitty situation. there are villages in Iraq and Syria that have been virtually antonymous for centuries, with their own cultures and power structures. Muslims, christians, kurds, Assyrians, who could have given a fuck about a Saddam or a Bush are now being introduced to genocide, rape and cultural destruction. it's a lot like how the European imperialists of the previous 500 years used to do it. and besides a few missile drops here and there America is just kicking back and watching it.
as much as it might hurt the ego, our government will be better off establishing better relations with Iran and Syria, and to loosen ties with Saudi Arabia and and the Emirate nations who are filled with millionares who helped fund isis and al queda on the low.
