The bums name is Frank Jordan, with a pro record of 0-2 (2 KO's). White Tiger Jew was making his pro debut but had an extensive amateur background. Can read about him here Max Boxing - News - Debutant Watch: Dustin Fleischer

From my years of watching boxing whenever you see a guy who is clearly a million times better than the other guy in a pro debut or early career fight they stop it early. The Jordan guy likely never fought in the amateurs, probably just some guy in the gym willing to get hit for a few hundred bucks.

I'm guessing the mini concert was because this is his debut in boxing, you know a way to have a grand entrance so to speak. I doubt they'll do that every card, at least I hope not. Plus you gotta imagine the quality of fights will go up drastically since in just the past 24 hours their stable has grown immensely and of course topping it off with Andre Ward. Rigondeaux was there I'm sure he'll work out a deal and there will be others surely with the kind of money Roc Nation is willing to spend.

Overall decent debut on a Friday night, definitely curious to see what they have planned in 2015.

Also something to think about, now that they have Jennings I'm willing to bet they will be able to bring Klitschko to New York, and Klitschko has a two fight deal with HBO so it makes perfect sense. Could be a big event if they can stack the card well.

Hopefully Caribe doesn't get in the way if they offer Rigondeaux good, guaranteed money. The problem is they'd likely have to pay off Caribe or negotiate some kind of split with them, as much as I love Rigondeaux not sure how much money he's capable of bringing in the states.

Just doesn't seem like there's anyone that would fight him. No way Frampton or Quigg fight him without fighting each other first, don't really blame them seeing as that's a pretty hyped match up and would be huge in Ireland. They'd both make good money in that fight. LSC definitely won't fight him if he signs with RN. He's too small for featherweight as much as they talk about fighting Gonzalez.

I hope they can make something happen with him. He's already up there in age and is clearly a special talent. Would hate to see his career wasted because of boxing politics.

Caribe already fucked up an early Roc Nation offer a few months ago. Hopefully they let Roc Nation buy him out. Although it seems like fighting in Japan could be good for him, but perhaps that's not what he wants.

Kind of wish RN cut out all the theatrics and the random Fleischer Vs. Jordan fight and aired van Heerden Vs. McCalla. van Heerden's been racking up quality wins and should have been good enough to get on a Fox Sports card.

Hopefully it's like 2-0 said and it's just a debut show type of thing and there isn't a televised concert every show on Fox.

I didn't mind Dusty's performance all that much, dude is only 20 years old and it was his first televised main event and it happens to be on Roc Nation's debut.

Just wanted to give props to the IBF. They pulled their sanctioning from Javier Mendoza (their light flyweight champion) Vs. Mauricio Fuentes tonight because Fuentes wasn't ranked in their top 15 and was 2 fights removed from getting smoked in a round.

Mendoza just blew him down in 2 rounds, but the IBF did it under no public scrutiny when they could have made easy sanctioning fees there. Big time props to them in this situation.

I could give a crap less about the concert part of the show, and I feel like that sort of thing has only added to the event a couple of times in history that I remember. So I agree with you, but maybe it brings in more casual fans? Especially the fans that attend the events? If it does for some reason, I'm totally okay with that.

Yeah I get why they did it and it wouldn't be a big deal to me if it was a bunch of Fleischer Vs. Jordan fights on the untelevised portion of the undercard. Just don't like possibly relevant fights getting buried or at least do like Top Rank does and they put any unaired bouts on their website normally.

The thing I hate is not being able to see fights because certain guys get buried on undercards. But again it's the first show so it's not a huge deal. Do what you can to show solid ratings, just hope there's not a 15 minute concert every show at the expense of meaningful fights.

Dusty just came off as a shitty person with an attitude. That's just he vibe I got from him while watching the fight and how he was looking after the guy picked him up. But he's still a kid at 20 so there is room to grow.

MGM Grand, Las Vegas - The purses for Saturday's Showtime televised tripleheader have been revealed by the Nevada State Athletic Commission. WBC heavyweight champion Bermane Stiverne will receive $910,000, and mandatory challenger Deontay Wilder will get a higher purse figure at $1 million.

WBC super bantamweight champion Leo Santa Cruz is getting a bigger than expected purse of $750,000 for his fight with huge underdog Erik Ruiz, who is only getting $50,000.
