This is the start of the next Civil War, most people are worried about Syria Iraq Russia and everything else. We need to be worried about how not to war with each other.

No he was not an angel, Mike Brown was a child. Trying to demonize or justify homocide on kids for childish behavior (i.e Trayvon Martin) is backwards as hell.

Childhood and stupid shit are practically synonymous. We learn from experience.

Darren Wilson was probably 10X worse the teenager than Mike Brown and he's lived to adulthood.

See the difference?

FOX news does not = fact. Wake the fuck up Siccness.
Hundreds of years ago, you were raised to be a man and treated as such by the time you were a young teenager. Emperors and leaders of countries have inherited power at a young age. Yet in our country, today, an 18 year old is still seen as a kid somehow? Maybe the problem is that the men and fathers of this country are not raising our children to be men and treating them like kids so they act like them well past the age they are old enough to be tried as an adult.

I'm not making light of the fact that dude was killed. A petty robbery doesn't warrant a death. But people have been killed for less. I'm not mad at Wilson for this isolated incident. I'm mad at our country as a whole for failing as parents collectively. Society is getting worse by the day because of it.

Hundreds of years ago people also lived to the age of 35, an 18 year old was middle aged. Comparing that to 2014 doesn't make sense.

We live in a time where an 18 year old doesn't have to be an emperor or leader of a country. People can actually grow and develop properly. Think back to when you were 18, did you feel like a 100% full grown man ready to settle down with kids, a mortgage, a 40 hour a week job? Did you feel like you could have been an emperor?

By law, Mike Brown was an adult. He was still a teenager, however.

While the first thing is a fair point, my point was that they were capable of conducting themselves as men at that age if they were raised to be men. I think we make a lot of excuses for ourselves or our kids. By the time you're 16, you should be smart enough to stop making ridiculously dumb decisions like robbing a store for instance. But if your parents aren't there and guiding you and you're influenced by dumbasses, you'll be more likely to do stupid stuff like that.

You're right, we don't have to be emperors at 18, or at all. But my point was that at that time, they were groomed to be a leader from birth in the event they ended up being a young king or ruler of some kind. The least we can do as men, is teach our kids to behave like adults by the time they are in their mid-teens. Prison is full of people using the excuse that their father wasn't around to show them how to behave or discipline them, so it should go without saying that people should be better parents is all I'm saying.

You're totally avoiding his point.

Don't do stupid shit and you won't get blasted... Mike Brown was no angel.
People don't understand it's not just about Mike Brown. It's about the years and years of police oppression and brutality that it reaches a boiling point. Rodney King was no angel either but it was never about the person who was Rodney King, it's what his case represented.

So tell us genius, why was Akai Gurley shot and killed? After you do a good job doing that then tell us why Levar Jones was shot...
I was talking about Mike Brown specifically, genius... that's what started this whole shit didn't it?

If you feel so strongly about this whole thing why don't you get up off your ass and do something about it? Sick and tired of all this bitching but no one does shit and then when someone shoots someone else it's okay? What about black on black shootings? is that okay?

You're right I don't understand.... I do understand not to resist though.

All this rioting shit is not gonna help either, destroying businesses of people that have NOTHING to do with shooting "kids" that shit is out of pocket

No, Mike Brown didn't start this, Einstein. However, since you're introducing Mike Brown to the thread and using a perverted form of "logic" to prove a nonexistent point, we still need to answer what happens when you DON'T do what Mike Brown did and still bite a bullet. So, genius, what happens when you "don't do stupid shit" and still get beat up or shot by the police?

If you feel so strongly about this whole thing why don't you get up off your ass and do something about it?
If you feel so strongly about me doing something you can try to make me. I will be at a studio in Oakland tomorrow you are free to slide through when I am finished.

Sick and tired of all this bitching but no one does shit and then when someone shoots someone else it's okay?
Please revise for clarity as what you just typed makes zero sense.

What about black on black shootings? is that okay?
The above gem is proof that critical thinking is an anomaly in this country and that confirmation bias takes precedence over it, deductive and inductive reasoning. In simple terms, what you're saying/asking has nothing to do with the topic. At best it is fallacious and at worst it is dumb as fuck. The former or the latter, champ?
