God this o-line is getting trashed, Wilson has taken a lot of big shots.

Seahawks looked all around solid as fuck this game!

Our one weakness that we seemed to work around was the O line.

Part of the problem can be Russell often just takes too much damn time in the pocket looking for a perfect pass. The benefit of that is that he doesn't throw many picks, but the downside is that he makes it extra hard on the o line and he throws a lot of balls away.

Yeah but it's hard to tell if guys are simply open or not on those plays. We don't exactly have a lot of talent at WR. Baldwin and Kearse would be #3 or #4 guys on many other teams.

Yeah I was making an effort to really watch the receivers as much as the camera angles would allow, and honestly it looked like our receivers were getting pretty good separation.

I mean when Philly was going all out to stop the run, it would be pretty crazy if we couldn't get guys open.

I honestly think what happened is Pete or Bevell pulled RW aside at some point and said "they are shutting the run down so we need to take some chances in the air. I know we always stress to protect the ball, but you need to take a few more chances out there"

And Russell listened and ended up making some pretty good throws.

Our OL is really bad this year. They are worse than last year. The entire right side is a frickin revolving door. Sweezy...cool story and all, but he is a BACKUP on other teams. Britt may be good down the road, but he should NOT be starting now. Carpenter was getting NO push yesterday and while Okung may be our best OL, he has looked iffy at times this year, and he commits a lot of penalties.
