After one customer dropped dead of a heart attack in a Croatian McDonald’s, the staff allegedly propped her body up in a corner, covered her face with a napkin, and continued to serve at the drive-thru window. Some reports said the main seating area remained open while the body was in the room
One seriously loyal customer
No mushroom caps and cheese platters for this funeral. Pennsylvania resident and loyal Burger King customer David S. Kime, Jr. dined at Burger King his entire life. He had one request for his funeral: Whoppers for all. Forty Whopper juniors were made for his funeral, and one was buried with him

When a Burger King customer and an employee got into an argument at a Detroit, Michigan establishment, punches were thrown. After being hospitalized, the customer died of what doctors deemed to be blunt trauma to the head. The employee was charged with homicide
Deadly soda machine
An 80-year-old woman was found dead in the bathroom of a Pooler, Georgia McDonald’s after being exposed to a lethal level of carbon dioxide. Authorities found that a hose leading to the soda machine used to carbonate beverages had been improperly attached, and had been leaking carbon dioxide into the nearby bathroom for days
A fatal fender bender
A woman at the Miami Burger King corporate headquarters got into a fender bender when backing out of a parking spot. She got out of her SUV and walked behind it to check the damage, but accidentally left her vehicle running. Her car ran her over and she died instantly
Winds too strong for this bell
A couple in Chambers, Nebraska was sitting in their truck on a particularly windy day when a Taco Bell sign above fell over and crushed their car, killing the woman. The National Weather Center recorded wind speeds of 30 to 35 miles per hour that day
Tainted meat
A 2-year-old died from an infection linked to Jack in the Box hamburgers in 1993. The boy suffered heart and kidney failure caused by E. coli bacteria, which had been traced back to Jack in the Box. The infection took a little over a week to kill him
