Do you guys top out or just keep accumulating? The only positive thing about ours is we don't lose them at years end (which would never happen for me anyways I'd use those motherfuckers lol) but we can never get more than 72. I tend to keep 4-5 days banked incase I actually get sick and when I hit over that take a day or two off depending on how many hours I have.

Its whatever seattles default pto is. They passed that paid time off law or regulation and they use those bare minimum guidelines lol.

Special PTO Requirement for Largest Employers. Tier Three Employers that use a "universal" paid leave program (usually referred to as "paid time off" or "PTO"), rather than dedicated sick leave, must provide more paid leave under the law than those employers with dedicated sick leave. Tier Three Employers must allow accrual of at least 108 hours of paid leave per year and allow carryover up to the same amount.

So I think you can go up to as many hours as possible but at the new year it'll reset to the max of 108 hours and you lose the rest, ill have to check my little handbook to know exactly what it is

I know we don't theoretically call out sick anymore, we use "personal time off" hours, which is weird to me but hey whatever lol
Yeah ours can even cover a "mental health day" or stuff to do with immediate family. They can't even ask why you are calling out ever or for a doctors note until three consecutive shifts called out and if they decide to ask (which we are told never to do unless told first by HR) the company has to pay for the doctors visit.

It's been what like 2 1/2 years since it started and that's never happened though to my knowledge with anyone at my location.

I liked out old system where they only gave you like 3 sick days a year lol but they gave you a weeks vacation pay for each year you worked at your hire date anniversary. Every april I'd get that nice bonus check. Worked great for me cause I never get sick or call out
