And before anyone asks, yes...the pics are still on 4chan. I found them, and they are "altered" a bit so to not be as gruesome. But fucked none the less.

Suspect in Kitsap Co. woman's killing eludes cops in Portland | Local & Regional | Seattle News, Weather, Sports, Breaking News | KOMO News

PORTLAND, Ore. - A man suspected of killing a Port Orchard woman and posting grisly photos of her battered body online is believed to be in the Portland, Ore., area and remains on the loose after he eluded officers during a high-speed chase there, police said.

The police pursuit began at about 1:15 a.m. Wednesday when officers spotted the dead woman's gold 2001 Ford Focus with the Washington state license 495-YLY at Southeast 9th Avenue and Powell Boulevard in Portland.

Portland police say the car apparently was being driven by the suspect in the woman's death, identified as David Kalac, 33, who had been her boyfriend.

Officers tried to pull the driver of the car over, but he sped away and led police on a high-speed pursuit that was ended when he began swerving into oncoming traffic. The car was last seen speeding southbound on Barbur Boulevard.

The dead woman was identified as Amber Lynn Coplin, 30. She apparently was killed sometime late on Monday or early Tuesday following a loud argument at her apartment with Kalac, who lived there with her, according to court documents.

Her body was discovered in her apartment, in the 4000 block of Madrona Drive SE in Port Orchard, when her young son came home Tuesday morning and became worried, then called his biological father, Coplin's ex-husband, to come check on her.

The ex-husband found her dead at about 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and called 911. He said her face was bashed in and her car was missing.

Investigators arrived and confirmed that Coplin had died a traumatic death. After obtaining a search warrant, they found writing on a picture near her that said "she killed me first." Coplin's driver's license was found near her head with writing on it that said "dead."

Detectives also determined that Kalac was missing, along with his cell phone, laptop and Coplin's car, according to court records.

They then learned that photos of Coplin's battered, naked body had been taken after her death but before she was discovered by family members, then posted on two websites. The photos matched the crime scene at Coplin's apartment, court documents say.

Posted along with the photos was a statement, apparently from the killer, about planning a "suicide by cop." The statement read, in part:

"Check the news for Port Orchard Washington in a few hours. Her son will be home from school soon. He'll find her, then call the cops. I just wanted to share the pics before they find me. I bought a BB gun that looks realistic enough. When they come, I'll pull it and it will be suicide by cop. I understand the doubts. Just check the (expletive) news. I have to lose my phone now.

The same writer later added an additional comment:

"Turns out its way harder to strangle someone to death than it looks on the movies. She fought so Damn hard."

One of the websites where the photos and statement were posted was 4chan, an online forum where anonymity has encouraged some of the Web's darker moments. Earlier this year hundreds of private pictures of nude celebrities were posted on the site.

"Anytime somebody posts something on social media with a very graphic depiction of what claims to be a crime scene, we're going to take it seriously," said Kitsap County sheriff's spokesman Scott Wilson.

Court documents say that investigators later determined Kalac had sent a text to a friend at about 6:20 a.m. Tuesday saying "You'll see me in the news ... There will be no more me. Ever. You'll read about it. That's all."

Kalac is described as a white male, standing 6-feet-2-inches tall, weighing 220 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He has an active arrest warrant for second-degree murder out of Kitsap County, with bail set at $2 million.

Kalac is believed to be armed and dangerous. Anyone who sees him or the Ford Focus is asked to call 911.

I found the unaltered pics. Someone screen shot it before it got deleted. Fucked.
Yeah I saw them on a different site myself, kinda wish I hadn't. Although someone made a Radiohead 'The Bends' cover with a close up of one of the pics and I won't lie I laughed but then immediately felt awful about doing so.
