Thanks for sharing T @tay capone I remember when I bought The Vett CD only because you presented it. Fat Tone was still a young dude with a lot of potential. I could hear the west coast influence in his music. Its a shame that shit panned out the way it did. Them was some shady times I was still trying to accept dre was gone.I noticed there was many dudes out here that had bad things to say about KC after the dre murder. I have always listened to Rich The Factor, Rush, Mr Stinky, Tech N9ne, and Boy Bigg.Im not a follower so I wasnt jumping on that bandwagon. It was good to see KC and bay area artist connect up like that before shit got funky.
Was Fat Tone WCM????? I remember the song on C-Bo Album and listening to Fat Tone on there you could tell he was hungry. Didnt really get a chance to enjoy a wholesome discography of music from him but I was impressed with what I heard.

AND JUST FOR THE RECORD:
KILLA TAY AND MARVALESS WERE THE FIRST ARTISTS TO GO PERFORM IN KC AND BREAK THE ICE AFTER FAT TONE WAS MURDERED CUZ THE PROMOTER TOLD ME EVERY BAY ARTIST HE TRIED TO BOOK SAID THEY FEARED FOR THEIR LIFE. AND KEEPIN IT 100,I WAS NERVOUS WHEN I WENT CUZ THE TENSION WAS AT AN ALL TIME HIGH BUT I HANDLED MY BIZ AND KC SHOWED US MAJOR LOVE. IMO KC AND THE BAY WILL ALWAYS HAVE STRONG FAMILY TIES. ITS A FACT....PPL DIE EVERYDAY IN STREETLIFE BUT IT WAS SAD TO SEE THOSE TWO ARTISTS WHO HAD SO MUCH ENERGY AND INFLUENCE GO SO SOON CUZ I KNEW THEM BOTH PERSONALLY AND KNEW WHAT THEY WERE ABOUT. I LOOK AT THEM BOTH AS VICTIMS OF A FUCCED UP SOCIETY. NEITHER DIED FROM GANG VIOLENCE AND I CONSIDERED BOTH OF THEM REAL GANGSTAS. PPL LOOK AT DRE AS A FUN TYPE RAPPER BUT HE WAS REALLY WITH THE SHIT. I DONT EVEN HAVE TO SPEAK ON TONE CUZ HE WAS BEASTIN ON A REGULAR AND I ALWAYS TOLD HIM HE REMINDED ME OF MYSELF WHEN I WAS THAT AGE BUT I WAS ACTUALLY TRYING TO PULL HIM AWAY FROM THAT LIFE AND SHOW HIM A BETTER WAY,WHICH I DID SO I FEEL AT PEACE ABOUT WHAT I DID FOR HIS LIFE IN GENERAL. HE TOOK THE CALI INDEPENDENT BLUEPRINT I SHOWED HIM BACC TO KC AND TURNED HIS STORIES AND ENERGY INTO A LEGACY AND A FINANCIAL SUCCESS UNTIL HIS DEATH. AT TIMES I WAS PROUD OF HIM.
RIP FURL AND RIP FAT TONE

Tone's albums are some classic g shit with that west coast influence (like most of that KC sound) "Not guilty" is one of my favorites, I remember him rapping bout that crazy shit that he was rumored to be involved in at the time, ballsy shit to be calling out d.a.'s and rats....lol
