Which boss is it? One of the things I've found early is leveling up doesn't help too much. I spent like two hours trying to kill these 3 sentinel things and thought it was impossible. Then I got high and told myself to slow down and I beat them within 20 minutes. Its all about patience and dodging and running for your life for two mins, then sneak a hit in there, keep doing that lol

I think its called the old knight. Its at the spot where all the giant knights are at. I lack hp and stamina so I cant just run around and doge bc it takes everything.
I hit up youtube to see how to beat the knight and I followed the video but got hit 4 times and died.
Another it in first towers its a giant knight N there are 2 big catapults, it says to use them on him and he dies. Nope he destroys them and I just die bc I cant out run him.

Is it a big guy with a lance? I think you can stick to one side of him and the trick is to stay close circling him with your shield up, close as in like touching him basically, then tap him once or twice when he does the double or triple attack and is recovering
The big pursuer dude with the shield is lije fucking impossible. I died like 30 times then finally someone had laid a summon sign there which was real lucky. The pursuer dude ran at the other guy then I just charged over to the ballistas then shot him 3 times and it was over in like ten seconds. You need help with that one i think

are you sure you're in the right place? I went to that place with all the huge knights too early by accident because the game doesn't go in a line, you can kinda go everywhere it doesn't lead you in a straight path. I had totally skipped this place called the old forrest by accident. So I went there, cleared it, and then went back and the dragonriders were way easier. Forget about the lance guy
At the town by the fire there's a little path that goes to 'the old forrest' try that place
