I hate giant phones. Still rockin my LG2. As long as I can access siccness.net/vb and make decent pr0n video's I'm good. Fuck paying $800 for a phone
I also have the G2. Love it. Was going to fuck with the G3, but the battery life on that screen is shit. Need to wait until someone figures out how to get more life from a QHD screen before i move off of this phone. Plus, dont want to update really until they start getting out the x64 phones.

There is aspects I like about android don't get me wrong, i like the developer base, and how open it is if I was a programer - but you can't beat the smoothness of ios. Phone never gets slower over time, rarely freezes, free updates. Plus if you are into jailbreaking, opens up a lot more content.

I notice apple added a much of jailbreak tweaks, i think its their back door development of ideas. They say they don't like jailbreaking community, but really they love it.

I haven't upgraded my 4S yet, I'm excited for this. Just haven't decided which one, probably the 6, bc I 6+ seems to large, was not a fan of the size of samsung note, or would sell my ipad - having both wouldn't make sense.

Exactly man. That's the next technology I'll get excited for - battery life. Like you don't have to charge it for a week.

Sidenote:

Anyone getting a smart watch? Please let me know now so I can block your posts because you are a fucking faggot. Charge your watch every day lol fuck off you lame pieces of shit!

I switched to the iPhone about a year ago when the 5s came out. Had a Motorola Droid Bionic before that, and without going into too many details it was a fucking nightmare. My iPhone works and is very responsive and that's all that I care about after having that POS Bionic. (I'm aware the Bionic is probably the exception and most other Androids work great)

Agreed.

About 10 years ago when we were using Blackberrys, my friend was going around pitching the idea for a watch with an LCD face so that you'd be able to download different designer faces or create your own. Never took off.

What people don't realize is Apple doesn't move based on the competition's actions. They could use specs that were good in 2003 and tweak them to work their best together and it would still be faster and smoother than any Androids out that have the latest technology that came out yesterday. Meanwhile everyone else scrambles to copy their newest products, from the design to the features. NFC and all that other shit been in Androids, but they didn't have the pull to make it a feature worth using to the everyday person.

Steve Jobs was against the bigger screen thing and he's no longer in charge...there was a demand for bigger screens after Apple users saw all these Androids with them, so they had to deliver.
yup

Apple controls the whole stack (software + hardware) to deliver a consistently superior user experience compared to Android. For example, what good is a 2.7 Gz quad core Snapdragon 805 when the Android OS STILL can't match iOS's smooth scrolling? Android has some great features and I'll probably always use one as my work phone but for my personal phone and device I would always choose at the end of the day the iPhone will always win.

That said I AM looking forward to the next Nexus and Android L - I'll probably grab one to replace my HTC One M7.

yea not feeling that watch either I should of added... plus all the tracking of steps and elevation has integrated chip under the hood of the phone.

Apple and Google have been scrambling for a next gen devise that we keep on our bodies - but I don't see watches or glasses taking off anytime soon. The will serve same fate as the bluetooth headset.

Yea and batteries are the next advancement needed - in industry period. There is a lot of money into researching that, there is so much money to be made off electric cars, and devises for a next gen battery.
