The first time I had a Fanta in Germany I thought it had gone bad and asked the cashier for a new one and that's when she explained to me the difference between German and American Fanta because apparently a lot of Americans kept thinking they had Fanta that had gone bad lol

I just read the Fanta wiki and it said the dude in charge of Coca Cola distribution plants in Germany created it because they couldn't get Coca Cola's ingredients over to Germany during WW2.
