Yeah I knew it was something along those lines I saw that gif a few years back. But seriously that doesn't matter or excuse the officers actions after the crash. You become a cop knowing that shit like that can happen to you or your partner. You might be shot, stabbed, ran over, etc that's the line of work. So those cops should have been held accountable for the assault of a man that was obviously not in the capacity to do anything and was no longer a threat (doubt that happened though).
There is a reason police forces don't want their officers being too smart because it makes it harder for them to keep them in a pack mentality and from not speaking out and reporting injustices they witness.
