Luxury cars are dumb ass expensive.

More power to those who can/want to afford that kinda stuff, but you'll never see me driving a Mercedes, BMW, Porsche, Jaguar, etc etc...

Not saying they're not good cars, but the cost to own and operate is too much for me.
You can actually get pretty cheap decent versions of all those cars but yeah its the fuckin.gas prices that kill shit as well bullshit like having to get parts direct from.the dealerships that make that shit expensive.

Mercs are classy mayne ,The interiors on most euro cars shit on anything Jap or U.S made from the Leathers to the dash board and woodgrain.

yup, its a known fact that mercedes and bmw cost an arm and a leg to repair...fun to drive tho...id take a slightly used amg e55-e63 over a lot of cars on the road..notice i said used and not new cuz the price drops damn near to half after 20-30 thousand miles and at that price they're a great bang for the buck..

Scotty kilmers cool tho, i like his style...

I once worked for an autoparts warehouse and delivered parts. I can once remember delivering a $300-$400 fuel pump for a late 90's 3 series. The shit shocked the hell outta me and nonetheless made me a believer that up keep is no fuckin joke on a lot of the newer German cars....i dont know about the earlier models.

Unless that bitch is brand new on a lease or I'm just really really financially stable I'm not fuckin wit it.

The last three cars I've owned have had the same engine in them....GM 3800 V-6...two Oldsmobiles and this Buick.

On a side note, I'll talk about the '87 Mercedes 560 SEC that I vow to own before I die a lil later.

I read a review on it recently and didnt know it had a few "industry first"...

I mean hell...it was the top of the line benz back in the day.

One day I'll have a set of keys to one, it's out there somewhere lol.

That shit is fuckin crazy. They took away the most simplest thing we can do...check the oil....smh

I know that on the 1st gen Porsche Boxster, in order to change the spark plugs they have to lift the car and drop the whole engine......unless there's a new way to do it cause I did read that like 10 years ago.

and leave them rapist alone Mixerr @Mixerr ....focus on what I told you...focus on gettin Sony Acid Pro and make your own SD rapper mix...I'm still waitin!!

Oh yeah, Im not trying to say they aren't nice. And you can get some real nice BMWs and Mercedes for cheap...

But as soon as something goes south, no thanks. I've heard enough horror stories about folks with BMWs going in for brakes and walking out with a $900-$1200 bills...

The older I get the more I realize woodgrain, brushed metallic surfaces and ass-warmers are for the birds, real nice for a rental or night out, but not for me...Call me crazy but a 93 Accord with <100k looks more and more appealing, lol.

I bought a 2006 Porsche cayenne this last Wednesday, couldn't sleep that night because I was just stressed about it, and traded it that Friday for a newer ford for the same price. It was the nicest car I ever had in my possession but it cost 84 dollars to fill the tank and got shitty gas mileage. I didn't keep it just for the fact that repairs cost so much though

Old school Mercedes diesels can run on biodiesel, the engines last for a lifetime; new school diesels have restriction systems implemented to prevent biodiesel for no good reason. I gave a biodiesel presentation about a year ago, crazy what possibilities big oil tries to keep from the masses.

Even regular combustible engine vehicles are capable of running on biofuel, and can run on simple things such as wood and even bird shit lmao.

GM drivetrains especially transmissions are untouchable, for comfort ill take 94-96 fleetwood brouham over any of those cars, plus 25mpg outta of a 4300+ pound car is unheard of, add in the aftermarket for the engine, cheap replacement parts, and advancement of tune, and solving of problems since they where new(because the lt1 is a performance platform), I dont think it could be beat, plus you can find a clean one under 4k.
