I was talking about that the other day, kinda.
Aside from being able to say I went to a super bowl, I'd rather watch it from home.
Crowded as fuck, hella security, no replays, dumb ass halftime show, etc etc...Plus I'd imagine a high percentage of people there that don't even care about football, and are just there because its the thing to do.
My dad's uncle won tickets to the 76' super bowl at the rose bowl and sold the tickets rather fly to socal. Everyone asked why, he said he'd rather watch at home and get drunk for free.

Yeah I'd just want to go for the simple fact such a tiny percentage of people can say they've been to a Super Bowl.

If it was in Oakland, and I had free tickets, I would go.
Would I pay ~$3k per ticket, and then fly to whichever city has it, get a hotel at inflated special occasion price, travel to the stadium, stand in line for hours to get in, buy a $12 beer and $9 hot dog...I'd rather watch at home. Then when we win I can go outside and riot with everyone else.
