that shit been goin on since the late 90's breh. at least. used to be hella video flyers goin around that always had the BET and MTV logo on 'em. "will be seen on..." type of shit. i started seein that a couple years after Rap City stopped fucking with Nor Cal.

video "parties" would always be free. but the more people in the vid, the more "popular" the artist in the video.
