How complacent can you really be working for someone who hates you and your kind? I don't think this is a good example to set for young NBA fans.

I get the whole they get paid millions but there is 29 other teams that do as well. Hell if I was an owner I'd take this as a great opportunity to hold a press conference and say I welcome all races, creeds, religions etc. onto my team. Realistically though, youre right, it shouldnt be their job, it should be the league's job to force Sterling to sell.

I actually agree with your post. Why on earth would they play for a racist is beyond me. I never would agree to even play on dude's team.
So that shows me that this generation of black men rather collect a paycheck than have some dignity, which is sad to me.
When I was young, maybe like oh, 3rd grade, i wanted to know who i was a african american child. where did we come from etc. So i took it upon myself to read books, study our history. And i am proud to be a black man and I wouldnt under any circumstance work for or befriend someone who hated me/disliked me just because of the color of my skin.

the point i got from his post is that these morons knew dude was a racist but decided to play for Sterling anyway
However if this was a new development I'd demand to be released and would not play for his team until i did. its the principle of it and what our ancestors, civil rights leaders, died for.

This situation is similar to Marge Schott back in the 90's, most racist old cunt ever that owned the Cincinnati Reds, she said the most outlandish shit you could think of and people kept cashing her paychecks.

It is what it is I guess, people want to make them millions and at the same time live their dream, I guess sacrificing a little dignity is necessary.
