I didn't read, however, I have no problem with anyone in the world becoming a US citizen if that is what they choose to do. What I don't agree with is letting people jump ahead in line of those who decided to follow the US laws regarding the path to citizenship. No, this is not the first time the US has done this, but I am tired of the federal government deciding which laws should be followed and when they can be unfollowed for their stupid political gains, yet any of us who are already citizens have to follow the bullshit to a t or we got problems. Roughly three quarters of a million people became naturalized US citizens in 2012 alone and 600k and above to 750k is an annual thing. Over 200k of the adults though from 2012 were listed as unemployed, while more than another 200k's employment was unknown, and that alone places a serious additional burden on federal spending i.e. government assistance programs paid for by the US taxpayers. I don't think its right to break up families either, but lets not kid ourselves, the US system breaks up families in plenty more ways than just immigration enforcement. This is just a political push for the Democrats to expand their voter base, my hope is that if the people affected by the current construct do gain citizenship, that they will look into our political system enough to go against both Democrats and Republicans- I'm tired of the "business as usual" bullshit.
What erks me is one of the homies, who was naturalized, was deported after serving out his sentence since the court ruled it was aggravated assault with a deadly weapon when it was really self defense and he didn't get a pass, but then clown politicians going to say ish like Biden did and its nothin huh.
