I'm happy with the trade. I wanted to see what freeman was about but looks like no one has interest in him. Id much rather take schuab over Vick and sanchez though. He has a bad year and a half, but part of that is to blame of the offense he was running. We only gave up a 6th round pick so not much of a big deal. The niners gave up a 6th for Blaine gabbert lol

The thing about schaub is he had about 5 solid years where he was a top 10 (statistically at least) qb in the league. Last year he threw a bunch of ints, really only in a few games, but that doesn't necessarily define his whole career. I'm not saying he's gonna be great. He may be terrible, but a year ago if we heard we were getting matt schaub it would be a completely different reaction. I don't love it, but it's a solid move, and he's better than any qb we have on the roster now

im excited for this team on paper it's looking ten times better then past years but we all know how the raiders do, first 5 games the D Was looking great then it shut down if the D can play better and the offense can hold onto the ball longer then last year it'll only benefit but we shall see i think for some dumb reason mcfadden going to do something just hope he quits being a little girl and crying about his leg/hamstring shit

Who in their right mind would choose Shaub over Vick? And who thinks Desean Jackson would want to catch passes from Shaub over Vick? Come on man...

Schaub is a good pick up.

I posted a blurb about his stats a page or 2 ago, he's been a top qb for like 4 of the last 5 years, and has four or five 4,000+ passing yard seasons.

I heard a rumor about trading Pryor for a pick, and taking a qb that falls down the draft board.

Schaub had weak season, Alex Smith had a half dozen, wait till he plays before you judge him.
