OAKLAND, Calif. -- A 29-year-old man was arrested in Oakland Tuesday after a California Highway Patrol officer found 128 pounds of marijuana in the suspect's car, according to police.

The CHP motorcycle officer conducted a traffic stop on a Toyota minivan around 1 p.m. after seeing the van following too closely while traveling from eastbound Interstate Highway 580 to westbound Interstate Highway 980, the CHP reported.

During the traffic stop at Martin Luther King Jr. Way and 27th Street, the officer detected the strong odor of marijuana from inside the van and subsequently searched the vehicle.

About 128 pounds of marijuana were located inside the van, and the driver, Zi Ren Li, was arrested at the scene, according to the CHP.

How does one transport cannabis legally instate to licensed dispensaries?
If you grow plants for multiple patients it's 1/2 LB per patient you can hold if you have the paperwork. I know a young dude born in a weed growing family up by humboldt that could carry 10 LBS legally(20 patients). Dude would still roll with 50 LBS of outdoor.

The fact dude is Asian, in this case, I bet that's all indoor nug. Asians be running the warehouse grow game in NorCal.
