RUNNER UP: Vitor "The Phenom" Belfort

Three brutal headkick KO's in a row in 2013 all against top 10 fighters in Michael Bisping, Luke Rockhold, and Dan Henderson. Guaranteed title shot against the winner of Silva vs. Weidman II.

FIGHT OF THE YEAR: Mark Hunt vs. Antonio "Bigfoot" Silva

RUNNER UP: Wanderlei Silva vs. Brian Stann

BREAKTHROUGH FIGHTER OF THE YEAR: "Ruthless" Robbie Lawler

Normally I wouldn't put a veteran like Robbie Lawler up for this award, but after leaving the UFC all the way back in 2004 he was basically a journeyman fighter fighting for various promotions and at some points trading wins and loses including his run in Strikeforce before his return to the UFC where he went 3-5. Since returning to the UFC in 2013 and dropping back down to Welterweight he's 3-0 with 2 KO wins and two top 10 wins over Josh Koscheck and Rory Macdonald earning him a title shot at UFC 171.

FIGHT TEAM/GYM/CAMP OF THE YEAR: Team Alpha Male

Head coach: Duane "Bang" Ludwig, team includes multiple top 10 ranked UFC fighters including Urijah Faber, Chad Mendes, Joseph Benavidez, and TJ Dillashaw. Team also just won another Ultimate Fighter with Chris Holdsworth's win of TUF 18.

biggest bust of the year goes to The Reem, hands down! throw that in there to homie...dude was on a cake walk against lesnar, liver shot ended his night. both browne and silva were getting outclassed then BAM, reem got coccy and ko'd in both fights!

yeah Reem pissed me off in those fights. He was making Bigfoot look amateur for 2 rounds and was destroying Browne. Dude needs to protect his chin and quit acting like the fight is over.
