Great fight, highly entertaining. Amazing Hopkins can still put on a show and entertain the crowd just a few months shy of 49. Mario Kart was extra dirty and tried to throw a headbutt after the final bell and steve smoger is a straight up G he grabbed his face and pushed him Lmao never seen anything like it. Need a gif asap

This was Hopkins most exciting fight in quite some time. I really cant believe the stamina he has at his age its unreal to me. He really beat the shit of his opponent i was really surprised. Now the pressures on HBO to make the fight everyone wants to see happen

Hopkins and Floyd are by far the best at maximizing their stamina with subtle movement. BHOP has done an excellent job at his age at wasting energy. The fights with Pascal were cool because I think he really made BHOP expend a lot of energy. Anyone fighting him has to make him fight for real to have a chance, even at his age
Quillin was rocking Gabe every time he landed his left hand, and his jab was great. Quillin needs to work on his defense and punch output. Good fight but they should've let Gabe fight on he could still see.

Hopkins does not deserve a fight with Floyd. Hopkins needs to clean up his own division and face people like Ward, Stevenson and that retard Chad Dawson, who gave Hopkins a loss or two that has gone unavenged, before trying to drop the pounds and fight guys that are way smaller than himself. And who has Hopkins beat at 160?
What do you mean who has Hopkins beat at 160? He beat everyone at 160 undefeated there for 10 years. Beat every title holder and #1 challenger there was until he was 40. Destroyed careers.
Who cares if Hopkins brings up Floyd? He didn't mention it till Showtime execs approached Bernard about it. Then Richard Schaefer says he has a plan for a "50 vs 50 fight" (49-0 Mayweather going for his 50th win vs 50 year old Hopkins). The truth is Showtime has no more super fights left for Floyd so their getting to the point of whackyness.
Hopkins also mentioned he could go up in weight or down in weight to 168 to fight Froch or kessler.
Andre Ward, Stevenson, Kovalev, are on HBO those fights are not possible. Hopkins will be 49 years old in January he wants a big money fight before he retires, rematching Chad Dawson for a third time would make him like $27 total. I don't think any network would pay for that fight that no one would watch.
Hopkins will likely try hard to get a Froch fight, that's the biggest realistic fight for him. Only other one is Bute if he beats Pascal in Canada.
