some people are content with making $35k and living simply

whenever the cola goes up the inflation rate goes up even more

any actual slaary hike gets eaten up by the inflation rate scheme

Struggling small businesess wouldnt get the same treatment as corporations. Keep reaching

Also their is no way in hell a business owner will have equal amount as their workers or else the said person wouldnt be in business.

If more people in the bottom have more income business will pick up because people have more money to spend. Another way to help struggling business is to balance shit out.

So what you're saying is minimum wage laws will only apply to certain businesses?
No im saying if government cuts tax breaks and loopholes from corporations and gives huge tax breaks to small business like corporations been reaping they can use that extra money to pay their workers so nothing changes business as usual.

Shit maybe give fines to corporations or have them pay back the bush taxcuts that obama extended and reimburst that money to small business somehow. When millionares cant compete with billionares the middle class loses.

If you've worked at a fast food chain for more than 3 months and haven't even attempted to find a better job, you lack ambition and belong at fast food chain. I've found jobs on craigslist starting at $11-12 an hour and full time with no experience needed. There's no excuse in the world why you should have to settle for that job unless you're 16.

holding one of them going out of business/big sale twirling signs does not count...i think i would rather flip burgers at minimum wage than flip signs or stand on a corner holding a sign..or one of those assholes that come up to you while you pump gas trying to sell you some product...hey asshole, my windex works just fine

You're wrong breh, I wouldn't even waste time on a job like that. Currently have a job I found on craigslist that provides health, dental, vision, 401k, company cell phone and company vehicle and they trained me. I've also found full time construction/laborer jobs as well as care taking. All three jobs starting wage was $12. You know what's the funniest, Ive made more in 5 months running my own business I started from scratch than I would all year with those jobs. It all comes down to ambition, hard work, and a little smarts. Granted I'm in the Bay Area where there's more opportunities than say, Iowa.

People actually do that?
Shiiiiiiiit if people would try that here I'd probably come down with an acute case of parkinson's.

"Excuse me sir would you be interested in ... "
-What's that? .. woah WOAH ...
-Oh I'm sorry I've gotten gasoline all over your clothes... you better go home, clean yourself up and think about your future.

Just got an email to my inbox with this story:

While eating at his restaurant, Josh told me his story of working at McDonald’s and how he got to where he is today.

Josh dropped out of high school and his dad told him he had to get a job. So he chose McDonald’s to learn how to run a business and be a successful manager.

Within 5 years of HARD work, Josh was overseeing 70 people and 2 stores. Hell yeah Josh!

He learned how everything had a system. There was even a method and checklist for cleaning the toilet. When doing anything within the business there was a system so variabilities and talent were less important. All of that added up to a consistent experience with every customer.
What I learned from a McDonald's Manager

How To Make a $1,000 a Month Business Monthly Plan?

good god...1000 a month...you're broke
When did I say I was making or looking to make only $1000/month? lol. Yes $1000/month isn't shit but I think they're targeting entrepreneurs who already have jobs to start side businesses. I subscribe to AppSumo because they are a deal site that at times has good deals on stuff like web hosting.

The whole point of me posting that was to show another story of somebody who worked at McDonalds, worked hard, and became successful without picketing for a DOUBLE raise.
