spike tv is whats keeping them afloat. no tv slot, no more tna.
You guys do know plenty of indi companies don't have a tv slot and have been around forever right?

yeah but majority people dont give a shit about those companies or even know they exist. also tna isnt trying to be indy they trying to be mainstream so theres a difference. they will lose most their roster bc those guys want to further their careers catch a big break and want the big checks and exposure. Indy dont pay the bills on some real shit most them indy wrestlers have regular jobs also. this not the 1980s no more you cant live without income most them have wife and kids too and kids are very exspensive i have four kids so i know.. so if tna goes back indy then they taking a step backwards professional. so ermmm that

It is what it is... My only point was that they wouldn't fold be it a step backwards or not :classic:
why do you think TNA wouldn't fold without TV?

No SpikeTV = no revenue, no revenue = no big paychecks for Sting, Kurt Angle, AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Rampage Jackson, Bully Ray etc.

Panda Energy has wanted to dump TNA for years and only hasn't because Dixie Carter is the daughter of the real owner and CEO of TNA and she does the "daddy's little girl" shit and wines. TNA has been a money dump for Panda Energy for years, why wouldn't they fold it if their only revenue stream was lost?

They lose money every time they go on the road, even for house shows, TNA hasn't had one single profitable year in it's existence.

What purpose would an energy company have running it as an Indy Promotion? I doubt Panda Energy gives a fuck about it for the wrestling.

TNA don't even have a roster any more either lol they have like 15 active wrestlers and are about to lose AJ Styles in September.

Think WWE might have some interest in Samoa Joe now also, he just appeared in one of their headline articles on their website.

TNA is lucky Spike is happy with their 1.0 ratings for their time slot, or they would be dead already.

This is 100 percent truth and perfectly explained.

I went to two TNA house shows and no lie i seen more people a a church service then both them shows. it was basicially no body there no more then 100 thats why everyone there got to meet most the wrestlers on tna roster. but tna was so desperate they charged 100 dollars to take pictures in the ring with the wrestlers posing and they sign posters.

Because there are a big number of Indy companies with no tv slot at all and have been around forever.

:ermm:

fact is those companies arent making no real money lets be honest here. I dont care how good the talent is they not really generating huge crowds. and huge crowds are whats gonna bring in teh money. alot them wrestlers that work for them companies have a regular 9-5 jobs and do them shows basically for free at night bc they unknown wrestlers and call themselves paying dues hoping they get a call from wwe or even tna.

you cant fabricate your opinion. fact is tna will fold if they lose tv and financial backing. only reason they still being financial backed is bc contract with spike tv. once that contract gets canceled its over.

remember the company thats being the financial lender expects the money or more back and that wont happen if they fold and go back indy. if that wasnt the case tthen they wouldnt be doing these releases and saying they just low on money right now.

Hogan not worried about them honestly he only down bc they helped bhim get out of financial debt. Best believe he would jump ship back to wwe first opportunity he gets.

Wow.... You guys just don't get it

My only point was that a company can survive as an Indy. They will have to cut wrestlers and what not but they can easily make it as an indy company.

That's it's... Period.

I'm not saying they are goin to keep all the big name talents. To say that a company won't last without a tv deal is silly.

Try all you want but as long as there are long term indy promotions still out there none of your points will ever be justified or make any sense..... Sorry

Exactly

Most indy promotions hope to break even with a show, most lose money, never hear of one actually getting a profit.

Think it was Todd Gordon (might have been a different semi well known promoter, don't remember) that said in a shoot recently that if you want to promote a wrestling show you must hate making money.

Most indy promoters keep putting shows on for the love of the business and continue to put shows on as long as they break even more than lose money.

Panda Energy don't love the business like that lol

Once again you're not getting the point, TNA is ran by an Energy Company that doesn't give a flying fuck about the wrestling business.

Indy promotions are ran by random guys with a love for the wrestling business.

See the difference?
