I realized years ago that the lottery sells you a dream for 1-5 dollars. From the time you bought it, to the time you realize you've lost, you day dream about all the stuff you'd do if you were ballin outta control.

People that play the lottery religiously are pathetic. I have yet to meet a person who plays the lottery every chance they get that is doing so to help others with the money they make and will likely end up broke and miserable in their lifetime no matter how much they win.

Nothing at all, but people should realize you're paying for that dream. The lottery unofficially offers that service but that's about it, save the 5 people that seem to split the winnings every time is a huge jackpot

I totally forgot, my dad and his ex-wife used to play it every week and play the same numbers, except one week they were too busy to buy a ticket. And yes, that week some of their numbers hit and they would've won about $50,000. I can't fully remember, but I think they quit playing after that. I guess the odds of those numbers hitting again were so low that they may as well quit.

Here's a question...

Who would stay anonymous and who wouldnt?

If I won "the big one" I'll be damned if you see me on tv at that press conference cheesin holdin that fat ass check for the world to see.

Im checkin the anonymous box and going into seclusion after that.

nothing wrong playing a dollar or two once a week unless you a broke bitch
I think y'all might be misinterpreting what I'm sayin. People put so much hope and faith into winning the damn lottery even though they're not down and out, they just want more. If they cash in that lotto, they'll still be in search of something more and probably be one of those people that lose all the money in their lifetime and die miserable. That, is pathetic. Everyone has dreams of having more money and in particular, people like me that grew up with nothing and living off of welfare with they had anything to call their own. That's not the people I'm talking about. I'm talking about people who aren't strapped for cash, never look to help anyone else, and would still be a stingy bitch if they cashed in on 400 million.

@duce

I've said for years that if I won the lottery, I'd probably be busier than I am now even though I have a wife and 2 young sons, go to school full time and I'm starting a ministry. If I was breaded like that, I would be able to do things I actually want to do but no one believes in me to do as far as helping my community and things of that nature. I wouldn't want to be known and would like to stay anonymous because I'm a pretty private dude but it would likely only be a matter of time before the word got out if I was living a life like that, that I had money and how I got it.
