You see it that way because you see me negating christianity, which is exactly what is being done when ideas that go against a belief system take shape. So relative to the way you see islam, yes, islam seems to be getting promoted here. Now if you were not so caught up in your second-hand 2-dimensional, primitive ass way of looking at the world, you wouldn't have so easily been on the defensive. You are on the defensive because deep down you know that none of it stands on ANYTHING and that it is self-validating.

If it helps make it any clearer to you, we can use satanism or pastafarian for all I care. Or better yet, we can use any christian denomination other than the one you adhere to (List of Christian denominations - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia , what a list.) . If you want, we can take what I am saying and apply it to the political spectrum if you would like. We can talk about favorite candies if it helps you cope with the trauma.

The detail of which religion does not matter and you would have understood this for yourself if your beliefs weren't so fragile.

I'm not on the defensive at all. It just became obvious when you said the something about the Quran. I quoted the Quran, Torah, and Bible to make a point about how the Quran thought Ishmael was a prophet and the other religions don't yet you ignored that altogether. I knew what type of conversation this would be quickly and knew it was a waste of my time. We can match wits and knowledge all day long but I've debated with tons of people the time that I've been a Christian and at this point I know when I'm wasting my time talking to deaf ears. Like I said, nothing you've said isn't anything I haven't heard before and it's dull to me. Having said that, you've probably heard most of everything I will say in return. You're not talking to me to try and learn more or gain perspective, you're just going to keep talking and talking and talking to try and prove whatever point you think you're going to make. I could prove you wrong on everything and you'll change the subject to something else. In that regard, I am playing behind the 8 ball to have to come up with an answer to every thing you say, which I don't have the time for. Even if I do answer it well, you'll just start insulting me or my faith which gets old after awhile too.

I posed legitimate questions that should be of concern to all humans and you avoided answering any of them. Instead you figured I must be attempting at making islam look good. You don't have to try and defend or explain yourself dude because the truth of the matter is in the discussion that we had, and the responses that you did not give.
I didn't actually expect you to critically think about the very real issues of concern. I expected you to do exactly as you did, sadly.

every time I talk to die hard religious zealots...this song always goes through my head and I feel resigned,that I better make the best of my stay there...cause eternity is a pretty long time.
