Pet peeve: Open your fuckin store on time.
I go to get a couple t-shirts before I take my test, I pull up, store is supposed to open at 10am. It's 10:01 I walk up to the door, its locked and most of the lights are off, I look inside and there are a handful of employees milling about the store. I get it, shit happens, not a big deal, they'll open in a minute, so I go sit on the bench. In the time I'm waiting 7 or 8 people do the same thing. 10:15 still nothing. About 10:20 an employee shows up, knocks, and is let in, locking the door behind her. 10:25 the doors finally open, people file in, all the lights are still off, and none of the registers are on/open. I grab my shit, wait for the register and go. I get back to my truck its 10:35. 34 minutes to buy a black t-shirt.
My complaint isn't with not getting what I want asap, or this trip or whatever, it's just t-shirts, its this acceptance of being late I'm seeing more and more. Once a week, my day is delayed because some punk-ass kid is dragging their feet, on a break, or fucking with their phone instead of paying attention. And nobody cares, and its inexplicably tolerated.
I guess I just don't get being chronically late, and I don't get how people slide on it. I get being late, happens to everybody. But you can tell when some shit has gone down to make someone late, vs. that asshole that's late absolutely everywhere. I've had coworkers, late, every day, between 15-30 minutes. Makes you wanna fuckin shake them "Leave the fuckin house 15 minutes earlier!". Its your job to be somewhere at a certain time.

its still illegal to transfer from individual to individual. Rules have to be published by december, the preliminary guidelines have already been released.

What will be, if any, restrictions on home growing plants?
The whole state ran shop is a good idea for starters imo, will make skeptical people more confortable - plus the feds would have to go for the state, and not individual shop owners. It sounds a bit like TX and there hard liq. They have specific Liq stores for that, and you can't just buy it in a supermarket like in Ca. They arn't state run Liq Stores, but they need to go through more state hoops to open one up...

i'll admit, there's times when i'm late. there's also times when i'm early. more often than not, i'm just on time.
one of my boys, i stopped hanging out with, because he was always late. like he would never, ever be on time. and he'd always show up drunk...nothing wrong with being drunk, but this guy doesn't know his limits and would throw up or pass out frequently. there'd also be times when we'd go out, and he would drive...and me and my boys would find out that he would drink while driving. heard from one of my boys that dude has crashed 2-3 different cars and had gotten a second dui recently.
one of my good family friends is always fucking late as well. i usually go play sports with this guy, and i swear to god he's always late. the fucked up part is that he is the one that lives closest to the parks we usually play at. a couple of times recently, he'd schedule a game, and would be late...and we'd start playing ball without him, and make his ass wait until we take a water break. and he'd be sitting on the sidelines/dugout/benches trying to crack jokes while nobody listens...
