What's it like to live and work in the most dangerous neighborhood in America? Theodore Parker can tell you.

He's the pastor at St. Cecilia's Rectory, a church of about 350 parishioners in northwest Detroit. The rectory is just down the street from the area that NeighborhoodScout has named the country's most dangerous. People there have a one in seven chance of becoming a victim of a violent crime this year. It doesn't get much worse than that in this country.

"It feels neglected," Parker said in an interview with MSN moneyNOW. "I would say it feels sort of nervous, if a neighborhood can feel nervous."

Damn not looking good, but hey how do you guys feel about this because you all love to compete about who lives in the worst hood?

I'm having a USP on me at all times and an SKS in the house.

Im assuming your gonna look for some cheap housing. Theres a lot of better places besides Detroit. Try the south. You'll have an advantage since your white but all jokes aside, try Texas, Arizona, Florida or even Las Vegas. Cheap housing and better weather. You can find a nice apartment, in a good neighborhood in Vegas for $900 a month.

Do your research. Check out City-Data.com and their forums. You'll get some good advice on there from people who live in each State in the U.S.
