Yea, at most stores, when you work freight and become a journeyman (was 4 years at the grocery store I worked at) you topped out and made pretty good money.

What u do? I've worked pretty much every job at a grocery store. Never cashiered though.

Every god damn thing there can be done lol. Cashier, pushing carts, bakery, meat dept, produce, dairy, frozen, clothing, toys, pharmacy, backroom, deli, photo, stocker, unloader, backroom, and do ms and zms jobs all the god damn time, make 9.30 an hour

I dont understand how u working in the meat dept specifically yet work in all the other depts as well but thats the one dept you should fuck with if there is a union. Meat cutters make loot.
