The biggest threat, imho, is Lara at 154. Stylistically that's a fight that would give Floyd a lot of problems. Absolutely zero chance of that happening though Lara obviously isn't a big enough name nor is he accomplished enough. But man Id love to see it.

Margarito called out Mayweather for WAY longer than 5 months. Other people were begging for that fight to happen. People were also asking for the Floyd/Pac fight for damn near 2 years man. You make it seem like it was a couple weeks time or something. So why Manny wasnt willing to take a test yet they wanted Marquez to for there last fight? He will never take the test, whether hes hiding something or not. he was doing good before that uncalled for flying headbutt. its funny though cuz alot of the people that talk about boxing and write about it were saying before his fight with Guerrero that the last person to actually begin to crack floyd's defense WAS Ortiz.

mosley has been shot for quite awhile now, he's my favorite fighter of all time...i know him all to well. the only reason he beasted on margarito like he did was due to the plaster being found and his inability to box n' move. mosley took full advantage of both of those reasons and it showed on on how much he whooped his ass that night. if you found out your opponent tried to put some plaster in his gloves before fighting you, you'd be pissed the fuck off too.

That shit wasn't legit and never would have been legit. We don't have to go over this all again but to quickly sum up Pac simply can't accept money from a fighter and completely bypass Top Rank whom he has a legal, binding contract with. He would be sued and he'd lose. Floyd wanted to pay Pacquiao and have Golden Boy/Mayweather promotions promote the fight and completely leave out Bob Arum/Top Rank. Everyone knows that shit could never fly, lets be real here.

Bottom line is both Pacquiao & Floyd were at fault. Each had their share of bullshit, and if they both truly wanted to fight it would have happened. Floyd could have bended more to Pac, Pac could have bended more to Floyd, it would have happened. But both these got egos, both these guys thought they didn't need the other and honestly they didn't (being that both were making over $20 million a fight against other guys).
