The only reason Floyd could retire is cuz of his hand or running out of opponents. The skills are still there, hes got 5 fights left in him at least i believe

Finally home now. Ok so what happened to The Ghost giving Mayweather his worst beating??? Hahahhah. Lol @ 13 people on here who voted for Guerrero to win and 4 picked him to win by ko LMFAO!!!!! Floyd couldve went another 12 rounds lol. This shit is to funny lol. On a sidenote I would love to see Santa Cruz vs. Rigo. Got Em!!
Floyd outclassed Guerrero like I knew he would but whats with all the talk about him "destroying" him though? A "destroying" is what happened in the Santa Cruz fight or even the Mares fight, there was none of the sort in his fight imo.
Sure he was makin' the Ghost miss with his shots and countering him with his own single shots here n' there but thats about it. Its not like he was beating the breaks off the kid, Floyd was doing just enough in each round to win the round. Which is what he does in all his fights but like I said....Don't get me wrong, he clearly won the fight but it was nothing special imo.
And....How come every undercard fight had the weigh in weights and fight night weights BUT the main event? Why does Floyd always hide his fight night weight?

Damn...hate to be long winded...but...which hand did Floyd hurt? Cause it was interesting that he never threw the lead left hook which would have KO'd Guerrero...the same hook that drop Marquez...Floyd had already started taggin' Robert with the straight lead right...then like a pitcher he threw the change up and looped the right around the guard...now you got the guy conscious of that...you smack his ass with the lead hook...BAM!!! Another thing when the Ghost had vision problems with the blood dripping in his eye Floyd could have continued in the next round with the "walking em down" and finished the Ghost...but he took the next round off using foot movement and circling...then he the next round he got back to business...but Robert had recovered by then (my only half hearted criticism of Floyd). Floyd had Robert in the EXACT same position and situation as he had Diego Corales...and the hook sent Corales sprawling to the floor. Maybe this is the difference between the older and younger Floyd...well anyway Floyd is the best fighter today...and I am beginning to think he may be only trailing Ali and Sugar Ray Leonard in his ability to feel the ring and everything that goes on inside it (special mention to James Toney, Sweet Pea and Roy Jones). Sorry my knowledge doesn't extend to Willie Pep or Sugar Ray Robinson to include them in ring generalship. In the end...Canelo would get humiliated...Trout would get walked down...and Manny Paquiao never belonged in the same conversation at any point in his career with Floyd...Sergio Martinez was the only fighter that was a legit threat. Floyd King Money Mayweather.

It was nice, to me at least, to see floyd use his legs and a lot of movement. I don't know if its because he's training with his dad or whatever now, or just a different mentality but the last 2-3 fights or so Floyd was pretty stationary and as a result took a few more shots then he's used to against Cotto. Last night he put it all together and to me looked pretty damn great. I agree with The Bay Area, the only thing really lacking was his left hand. He threw a few and when he did they landed solid, if he put a few more together following the right maybe he gets a late stoppage. But that's nick picking. A+ performance for Floyd. Really showed the difference of class. Guerrero is a solid fighter. Floyd is a GREAT fighter.

Mayweather pummeled that kid and made him look like a wannabe boxer lol. Mayweather showed us boxing 101 last night and hopefully Robert learned those lessons that were taught. Money May all day! I think Ortiz vs Guerrero would be a dope match. Got Em!!

I have to admit, Floyd did his thing and Guerrero got outclassed, but it was a hit and run, which will make it boring for the fans. At the price that the fight was being charged for it wasn't a great fight, poor PPV. But he won within the rules and you gotta give it up for Floyd. That's his style of fighting and if an opponent can't handle it then he needs to not call him out on fights. Got Me!

He fought flat-footed against Mosley, Ortiz, and Cotto because he wanted too, remember the haters before the fights happen talking about Mayweather would never go toe to toe with those guys. He fought flat-footed to prove a point. He gave The Ghost a boxing lesson using movement, because once again the haters said that he lost his legs. So he moved and boxed to prove a point once again. When are people going to get it thru their head that Mayweather really is that damn good in the ring. He really is one of the all time greatest boxers in the history of boxing. After the Corrales fight which I thought going into the fight Mayweather would lost, I have never bet again Floyd again.
