Nah I didn't "hike" up the numbers personally...it only counts 1 time from your computer...I was just noticing the numbers on other artist's SoundCloud profiles...how long their songs had been up and they still never cracked the 200 mark after months. Not sure if I can push it to 500 since I've pretty much exhausted my resources...but I'm going to try...
