Kobe has been a great player, no question. If he would've played more like he played this season where he was getting his team involved and putting up 7+ assists per game, I think he actually may have passed Jordan in terms of greatness for a lot of people. He was certainly capable of that and it would've equated to more wins and better shooting percentage. As it stands, he can't catch Jordan no matter what he does unless it's something completely outrageous like leading a lesser team than he has now to winning another 3 straight chips or something. But even then, people will always say that Jordan was the better player and whatever Kobe does, Jordan could do better.
Jordan had some damn good teams, especially the last 2 seasons. They had 3 hall of famers on that team and the best coach ever. Don't sleep on that. Jordan never won a chip without Phil Jackson
