That's true, but do you think rap music is holding young black men in the ghetto trapped?

Think about it, that's all they listen to.
I think it plays apart. Music is very influential. The most influential medium in entertainment imo. Music can make u feel happy, sad, angry etc. If you don't have the intelligence to know that's its just music u will get hypnotized so to speak.
On the same token at the end of the day we are all responsible of our actions regardless of race, economic background etc. But I do feel music plays a role. But the bigger role with black people is lack of fathers, lack of a family structure. That's the biggest contributing factor. If we know that the cards are stacked against us then why don't we have the sense to do right? To not follow what our parents did or grandparents did, or friends we see?
Its a lot of reasons why tho, can't just pinpoint on music. But music is a small part.

lets go shut down the owner of priority records prisons!!!
just so theres no confusion, i was obviously being sarcastic

a more realistic/effective way to fill prisons? make crack cocaine a schedule 1 narcotic then flood all poverty stricken areas with it, if you look into george bush sr. and jr.'s holdings youll see they own a company that supplies the majority of commissary soaps toothpaste toothbrushes etc to the prison industrial complex- bush sr. was also the head of the CIA right before the cocaine explosion when crack was in its developmental stages

now thats a conspiracy theory with some teeth to it

As the months passed, rap music had definitely changed direction. I was never a fan of it but even I could tell the difference. Rap acts that talked about politics or harmless fun were quickly fading away as gangster rap started dominating the airwaves.
This conspiracy theory is aimed to be read and believed by people who were born yesterday.
First off, music, like any anything, goes through phases. Yeah, rap songs about gang banging were popular in the early to mid 90s. When people got tired of that, they moved on to rap songs that with a more R&B influence. Then you had the bling bling era, and from the late 2000s on up you had a rich Canadian Jew selling millions by rapping about lost love. It's cyclical.

2nd, was the film industry involved in this conspiracy as well? Remember all the movies from the 90s like Boyz N The Hood, Menace II Society, American Me, Blood in Blood Out, South Central, etc.

With music there's always some conspiracy. Rock music was believed to be a socialist plot to weaken American society by promoting drug use and perverse behavior. Hippies man. The communists turned decent American's into non-bathing, promiscuous, pot smokers.

Then in the late 70s/early 80s the music industry was plotting to subvert the youth of America into Devil worship. Want proof? Play the records backwards!

I never said it was evidence, although this man claims to have some which he will release next monday. He also used an apparent micheal jackson recording which is still being verified.

sounded like MJ. and it sounded like he was doped up. lets see what mr. clean has for us next week. if he wants to win in the court of public opinion tho he's going to need to produce official DoD documents.
like ESCOSE said, most of the population will just shrug this off as some BS and keep it moving. DoD documents will hold more weight.

I have my doubts because he didn't go the wikileaks direction. We will see though, this is being investigated by a wide range of people.

So far, what has been uncovered is somebody with a similar name, worked for DoD.
