Damn! Im surprised cuz Ive never heard anyone mention them at all......

Everyone has pretty much memtioned all the LA artists, except them...

I think they had a total of three or possibly four albums out together, one which was first an ep that came out around 97. Then they released another album in 99, this time an LP which I have called "Spread Yo Hustle International", which is by far one of my favorite West Coast albums of all time!!! It had a gangload of songs & they had a single out at that time which really made wanna go cop their album! Their single which was named "Live Yo Life" which features K-Ci & Jo-Jo was by far the one of the best West Coast songs Ive ever heard & it was sad the song didnt retrieved enough radio airplay. Because of that, & the fact that it was an independent record, it was unable to get enough recognition & promotion that shouldve been done, otherwise they wouldve had an oppurtunity to get a lil mainstream recognition. To be honest with you, that album was a pure knock all they way thru, & even the Source & XXL shouldve gave them at least 4 mics or an XL!!!! To be honest that one album really inspired me so much that Ive just might as well gotta stick to the West Coast underground!
With so little promotion, they just couldnt get enough recognition but to tell ya the truth, all of their albums all knock without any complaints or disappointments. Then in 2004, they got back to release another album, this time a DOUBLE LP with so many songs that have just couldnt stop knockin!!!
Man! I really wished they couldve gotten more recognition, obviously that's almost everyone in the siccness havent even heard of em'...
But pleeeze??? Do me a favor!! If you come across any of Kali's Finest albums esp. Spread Yo Hustle Int. or the double album "Time 2 Boss up", go pick it up cuz theyre really the definition of the real West Coast!!! They are probably one of the few who keep it real reel West Coast & they even keep it old school by throwin in sum G-funk in the mix! They did collaborated with a lot of west coast legends & other rappers such as: King T (yeah!), Ras Kass (hell yeah!!!), MC Eiht (geeahhh!!!), Ms. Toi, Roscoe, Kurupt (damn!!!), to even Bizzy Bone & E-A-Ski!!! All of them are West Coast classics imo...
They so great they should even go back & record another album & they should even do some dope collaborations & be featured on other folks' albums!
Hell Yeah!!! Mitchy Slick should collaborate with them cuz he always fucks wit OGz! They should work with E-40, C-Bo, Game, Young Hootie, Jayo, 40 Glocc, Xzibit, The Frontlinerz, Cricet, Lil CS,... to even Snoop, Daz, Nate Dogg , Warren G, & Ice Cube!!! Kali's Finest are the pure definition of that real og West Coast rollin-wit-a-64 ragtop gangsta lean g-funk type sh!t & I couldnt fuckin beleeve everyone are sleeping on them like they never heard of them or never seen any album from them!!! Yall need to go cop that & bump that Kali's Finest sh!t cuz they are the ones who are the "West Coast best kept secret!"...... They really needed their sh!ne too, ya kno......

But the most exciting thing is that about every track on their albums knock!!!

Live ya life, I see you ft. Ras Kass, I'm kool on you, money makin', forever flossin', spread ya hustle, Hey lowrider, Underground party, we can all get paid, everything's gonna be alright ft. MC Eiht are all knocks!!!

...and the double cd also has tons & tons of heat!!!...

Yeah that track is knockin too! But isnt there like three versions of that track??? Two on disc 1, which there's a different version with Mr. Kane, and one on disc 2 which only features Roger Troutman Jr.??? Damn 3 versions though??? Any otherwise both cds knock all the way regardless!!!

The only one reply shows that Kali's Finest are indeed the most highly slept-on & the most under-underrated rap duo in the entire West Coast, so somebody gotta reply if they know anything about them???

Caffeine? Rasan? NEMO?? Coopdvill???...... ?

I also like this duo a lot, got their last 3 albums on CD's. Too bad, Time 2 Boss Up will remain their last album as G passed away in 2010...

Yes, " G" passed away on Novemeber 9, 2010, due to sickness. "G"'s Family was left with no money to bury him. The only money left was stolen.

I don't have their 97 album on CD either (I just have the rip) but if you checked the tracklisting of both albums (97 and 99) you'd see that on 99 album (Spread Yo Hustle International) they have most of the tracks from 97 album are there on 99 album and, I can say that those are the best ones from 97 album.
