Canelo Vs Trout April 20th

See man I knew this would be to good to be tru. It aint gonna happen. Trout is to dangerous of an opponent for Canelo at this stage. Especially since Canelo wants the Mayweather fight next. Weak sauce man. Got Em!!

If Floyd fights at 154 after Guerrero, he should fight Trout. Trout is the mandatory Challenger to Floyd at 154. Hes proven himself. Canelo hasn't. So if Canelo ends up fighting Angulo, who can take this kid seriously?

I hope not. The more I see and hear this shit, I get more pissed at Canelo's camp. Guerrero has earned the Mayweather fight not Canelo. Got Em!!

Guerrero has been as silent as a deadman, which to me say he's fighting floyd. Floyd will make the announcement when he's ready.

Yeah, doesn't seem like Canelo is at all the one ducking anyone to me either. I'm not a huge fan of his but I think you could put him in with Martinez or Chavez at 160 and he'd do it.

To me if u are gonna use that fight in comparing these two then Trout would be Martinez who will box and move while Canelo would be Chavez Jr. with the bigger punching power looking to cut off the ring. So u are saying that Trout will dominate and win pretty much every round? Just curious if u can elaborate more. Got Em!!



Yeah that's pretty much the assessment of the fight but I think Canelo will have a better showing for himself than Chavez Jr did. Also I haven't heard or read anyone saying how well Canelo does against a South Paw...I haven't seen or kept up with all his fights and he has 40 of em but has he ever faced a quality SP before? Trout being able to box and move doesn't look good for somebody like Canelo who is to me flat footed and spreads his legs wide when punching. Trout is more on his toes and is able to pivot better while punching and moving, so to me it looks like Trout will give Canelo a boxing lesson. On the inside Canelo looks stronger and seems to have a better punch combo it's just that Canelo has to track down Trout and that will lead to opportunities that will hurt Canelo. Split Decision...7 rounds to 5...115 to 113 Trout. But since it is Golden Boy and Canelo is the NEW star it might be a controversial win for Canelo.

I don't see Canelo knocking out Trout. His defense is to good and he has great boxing skills. Should be tough bout for Canelo. If Canelo dominates then dude will really be something special.

WBC 154-pound champion Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez is under fire in
Mexico. Canelo is already in San Antonio for Saturday's
unification with WBA champion Austin Trout at the
Alamodome.

However, authorities in Jalisco have requested that an arrest
warrant be issued against Canelo and his brother Juan Ramón
Alvarez.

On Tuesday, the Attorney General of the State of Jalisco move
forward with the case related to the alleged crimes against
boxer Ulises 'Archie' Solis. In the case of Canelo's brother, he is
being charged with makng false statements to local authorities
about the incident.

Canelo allegedly approached and gave a vicious beating to
Solis, a former junior flyweight champion, on October 25, 2011.
Solis suffered a broken jaw and lost several teeth from the
beating. He required several surgeries and was stripped of his
IBF due to inactivity.

Canelo has denied the allegations and said his brother was the
actual person involved in the incident with Solis.

This won't go anywhere. The way things work in Mexico is you get in legal trouble and you got money, just give the politicians some and it will all go away.
