One thing I will say, and this applies both to a point shea and nato made about 'using the word when appropriet' be it faggot or bitch is that this gets used a lot to justify using the word nigger too, as in 'i dont call black people nigger unless theyre acting like a nigger'. Which I reject pretty strongly.

i feel most derogatory terms are only offensive by context, saying something was some bitch/faggot ass shit for example isnt putting down women/gays

The hard part about "words" is that they have different meaning to different people. Two people could use a the same word with totally different connotation.

Really there is no resolve but to stop using certain phrases. It really stems from hate though, as long as there is hate, there will be people wanting to degrade.

Agreed, and agreed. But, just to use the extreme, basic brian wasnt trying to be racist when he said niggang or nigga or any of that shit. And he said it constantly on a public fucking message board.
