I was growin up in los angeles when ice t first came out...i was listening 2 gangsta rap before he hit the scene. Real gangsta rap...like at parties and at venice beach where i used 2 battle ppl. I had a form of respect 4 him then but most of the time when i think of ice t i think of a undercover police officer. #maybe its just me tho

LL pretty dope lyricst imo alot people had got confused on him from his radio singles. I grew up on his music heavy and he had a great classic feud with Kool Moe dee. he suppose to be dropping a new album next month its suppose to be on some grown man hip hop tip.

THING ABOUT ICE is yeah Power was his best album and undoubtly a classic but all his other shit sounds outdated now dude to generic beats and not timeless except some songs here and there.

I always had my mixed thoughts about Original Gangsta and thats half that album sucked azz and now it even sounds outdated. bc when that album dropped is when the west coast sound started to transform into that laid back sound eventually to g funk type sound when that album wasnt even in that sound barrier and was more uptempo east coast sounding far as production.
