I'm pretty sure that would be you Al Boo Boo (was it 0 instead of o? I can't remember). I'm just saying I personally don't like much hyphy music.
What I was getting at is a lot of people confuse some bay area rap that came out at that period as being hyphy when it's not. But that happens almost any time there is a distinct sound or movement coming out of an isolated area and it happens in more than just rap music too kind of like grunge in the 90s up here.
Anyways you were probably just being a smartass and I'm bored so yeah.

The old timers from the bay that tried to do hyphy music thing was just the fucking worst though. When the kids did it, even if it was a bad song, you could tell there was a genuine interest in making music like that for them and that's what they found to be dope. The others just sounded like stupid, dumb old dudes and not in hyphy way.
