Per usual, KG the One has no clue.

LOL @ people thinking they know what communism is...and dont.
I knew you would open your big mouth somewhere in there. The funny thing is i noticed you got hit with a bit of reality and have backed off your anti-gun stance a little because you like i know it's impossible to eliminate.

By the way i said this administration is the "closest" thing to communism the United States has ever seen! We are NOT in a communist society, yet! I'm really starting to think you don't know what communism is along with a lot of other stupid fucks in this country that for some reason get to vote?

Man you're an idiot! I'm not talking about disabled people. I'm talking about lazy fucks who don't want to work because they're lazy pieces of shit. America is over run with them!
1. The people who generate the kind of rhetoric you have been producing in this thread have not exactly demonstrated an ability (or, to begin with, a desire) to distinguish between the two groups. It is, therefore, a reasonable assumption to make that you do not make that distinction either.

2. How do you know the difference anyway?

3. Have you ever considered the possibility that those lazy not-good-for-anything pieces of shit you are referring to are a product of the same capitalist system you are so enamored with?

No they're just lazy fucks, i'm ashamed to say i know many of them. They get checks from the government which i and you if you're not one of them pay for. They also have absolutely no motivation to work because why should they we cater to them.

I never thought i'd be forced by law to buy health insurance not to mention pay for every other fuck who doesn't feel like working. Yet here we are and it WILL happen next year. I think anybody that actually holds a job right now is going to be shocked by the tax increases that take place next year and i'm not just talking about rich people.

Are you serious, every person you know thats out of work is a sad story with a disability or crippled by the economy? Get real, every one of us either knows or is related to some lazy fuck doesn't work and mooches off tax payer dollars! Theres millions of them out there willing to put a vote behind anybody that will pay there way.

You did not stop for even a second to consider what I said in 3).

So, let me repeat - do you seriously think there is no connection between the the kind of ruthless capitalism that's a state religion in the USA on one hand, and the many faces of social dysfunction on the other?

Things are quite different in Scandinavia...

do you really think we are headed in the direction of becoming a classless, stateless, moneyless society? like i said, you are right about a lot of people in this country not knowing what communism is. the people who think obama is a communist are a perfect example of that. alex jones is another good example.

I think you and alot of this country need to learn more about communism and see that is the direction we are headed in. That aside, my points still apply. The government has the means to become more overbearing then ever before.
BTW, this needs to be addressed - it is a fair bet I know more about communism than anyone here - after all I have spent the first few years of my life in one of those countries, and even after that, I have been much closer to the source than pretty much anyone here. So do not try to teach me

Also, it is always worth remembering (and pointing out to those in the US, who have never heard it because of all the brainwashing they have been subjected to by the mainstream media here) - before and especially between the wars, the people who were the most active supporters of communism all over Europe were mostly young intellectuals - writers, poets, etc. The kind of people like this one:

Nikola Vaptsarov - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

You certainly haven't read anything they have written, but I have and I can assure you the last thing those people envisioned was labor camps, a secret police to which 1 out of 7 people belong and everyone spies on everyone, rampant corruption on all levels, and all the other evils that plagued the years of communist rule. That's what they were fighting against. The problem is, as in most revolutions, the idealists either died in the struggle or were quickly swept aside by the psychopaths and those seeking personal gain in the first years after it.

I didn't even say that he was a communist. I said this is the closest this country/administration have came embracing some of its ideals! We are headed towards a classless society. Thats why we are currently punishing bussiness owners by paying outrageous taxes when they are the ones who employ hundreds if not thousands of workers.

God forbid if the economy does take a shit which i see as being entirely possible in our life time, then there goes the money value. Should that happen guess who steps in. Not the state government but the federal government.

Don't yall have jobs? It doesn't in the slightest piss you off that your paying a large portion of your taxes for people who probably don't deserve it? Does anybody even question where there tax dollars go, or do you just accept it?

The government has the means to become more overbearing then ever before.

Lets be real, just like a poster already put, the governments only play is an "Assualt Weapon Ban," because it's the only thing our society would be prepared to accept! This was already put in place once and had (ZERO) effect on crime.

What a lot of people don't realize including yourself is OVERALL gun violence is down signifigantly from 20 years ago in this country. Guns have always been here and only recently have we seen a rise in "mass shootings." We need to stop using guns as a scapegoat for poor parenting, not instilling the proper values in our youth and not recognizing and treating the mentaly disabled.

Once assualt weapons are gone people will use pistols, (which are already more prevalent in gun crime.) Whenever pistols are gone it will be bombs, knifes any weapon people who want to harm others can get a hold of. I don't think people are seeing the bigger picture. Eliminating the weapon is not going to eliminate the problem!
Look i should had never brought up the communism thing. I should've known a lot of you guys aren't ready to take the blindfold off yet. So i'll get back on topic and leave you with the original point i was making in this thead which i quoted above.

Total numbers for gun violence are down because of the general decrease in gang warfare.

Mass shootings, on the other side, seem to be on the rise.

The Viet Cong had superior morale and, more importantly, on the ground organization. Not the case when the drone comes just for you ;)

haha they had superior morale to whom? You are comparing them to an as of yet undefined group of people. No comparison can be made.

Not to mention;

1) the blowback from the government bombing its own civilians and the collateral casualties would incite far more anti-government sentiment than the original act of gun control

2) The warfare would much more likely be regional with factions of the military disbanding after being ordered to kill civilians and taking up arms against those who were.

It's a tricky subject. I didn't read all the posts but there is a quote from a Japanese general that has always stuck with me, I think it was something along the lines of "we would never invade the U.S. (mainland), there would be a gun behind every blade of grass."

That's why the wars in Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan were/are damn near impossible to win. Way too many guns in the country.

The gun control issue is a lot more than the amount or accessability of guns in this country. A lot of these nutbags weren't raised correctly. Making babies and being able to provide for them and having a respectable job doesn't make you a good parent. Kids have needs, some more than others. There would be signs for anyone that wants to shoot up a school one way or another. Parents aren't paying attention.

Remind me how many times the US has been invaded?
