the media should be held to a higher standard. you just cant throw out "random name +pic" and say hes the killer/shooter and then later say "my bad"

if were in the age of people getting convicted on facebook, the press and media outlets should be held accountable for putting out false information

Not only do I feel bad for all the families of the victims, I feel bad for Ryan Lanza. He had his name dragged through the mud and was handcuffed and escorted by police for questioning, and he lost his mom and brother (even though he's a huge piece of shit faggot now).

I just can't understand that when you want to commit suicide than why you would take innocent lives with you. What kind of sickness or fucked brain do those people have!

If he would live than I would approve giving him the worst imaginary torture

Some people even myself sometimes say that when shit like this happens we should kill the family too. It sounds hella good until I really sit down and think about it. I mean, if MY relli did some wildout shit, dont put ME in it. I didnt have shit to do with it. I dont got mind control like that.

TURN OFF THE NEWS.......

Morgan Freeman's brilliant take on what happened yesterday :

"You want to know why. This may sound cynical, but here's why.

It's because of the way the media reports it. Flip on the news and watch how we treat the Batman theater shooter and the Oregon mall shooter like celebrities. Dylan Klebold and Eric Harris are household names, but do you know the name of a single *victim* of Columbine? Disturbed
people who would otherwise just off themselves in their basements see the news and want to top it by doing something worse, and going out in a memorable way. Why a grade school? Why children? Because he'll be remembered as a horrible monster, instead of a sad nobody.

CNN's article says that if the body count "holds up", this will rank as the second deadliest shooting behind Virginia Tech, as if statistics somehow make one shooting worse than another. Then they post a video interview of third-graders for all the details of what they saw and heard while the shootings were happening. Fox News has plastered the killer's face on all their reports for hours. Any articles or news stories yet that focus on the victims and ignore the killer's identity? None that I've seen yet. Because they don't sell. So congratulations, sensationalist media, you've just lit the fire for someone to top this and knock off a day care center or a maternity ward next.

You can help by forgetting you ever read this man's name, and remembering the name of at least one victim. You can help by donating to mental health research instead of pointing to gun control as the problem. You can help by turning off the news."

That is correct.

The question nobody is going to ask is why American society is full of sad nobodies who do that kind of things. It's not even about gun control although that plays a big role too - there are other countries with a lot of guns too and you usually do have a lot of violence there, but you don't have people just randomly shooting a bunch of defenseless victims just so that they get remembered for it, or at least if it happens, there is a political motivation behind it. While in the US it happens regularly

You have to be one despicable person to do what this person did. We should never know the identity of the murder, we should only ever know the identity of the victims. What a sad situation.

FUCK YOU
CT Shooter Adam Lanza
Learned How to Fire Guns
... From His Mom

Mass murderer Adam Lanza learned everything he knew about firearms ... from his mother.

Adam's mom , Nancy Lanza -- who was Adam's first victim -- was an avid gun collector who reportedly bragged to friends and neighbors about her weapons and took her son to several firing ranges to teach him how to shoot ... in the months leading up to his deadly assault.

One of Nancy's neighbors, Dan Holmes, told the NY Post ... Nancy was a gun enthusiast ... an avid collector ... often taking her kids to the gun range, infusing them with her obsession with firearms.

Adam used several different guns when he opened fire on Sandy Hook Elementary school earlier this week ... all of which were registered to his mother.

This shooting didn't affect me whatsoever until they showed all the victims pictures & ages on TV last night. So fucked up.

The media eats this shit up though & will continue to run this story into the ground for the foreseeable future.

But US gun culture has nothing to do with these shootings...
