Well, the lawn area @ the Shoreline ( if any of you have ever been you know what I am talking about ) is @ a crazy steep slant, down toward the stage.

Well, while in said pits, I was moshing & fell, at the top of the hill, & rolled my ass down about 100 feet, thru the pit, getting stepped on & everything til i got to the bottom of the hill.

...got up & kept going in the pit.

LOL. That sloped pit shit is no joke. Irvine Garden has a similarly sloped patch of grass. I went there on halloween of 95 (94 maybe) to see Danzig, Type O Negative and someone else, cant remember who. Anyway, so people keep lighting fires on the grass and the pit would go around all these fires that kept popping up. A bunch of broads were going up to the top of the hill, getting running starts and then fucking leaping into the pit, which would cause everyone to fall down domino style and invariably some one would end up rolling through the fire. Eventually the cops showed up and teargassed us and cleared the grass.

At one point Danzig brought Rob Zombie out for like a guest appearence, but Rob's mic wasnt working so he started grabbing all these burning pumpkins that were part of the stage set and throwing them into the crowd. I saw i couple of people get taken off their feet when they caught a burning pumpkin to the dome.

Best big--as in arena not club--show I've ever been to.

Cool story, breh.
