Have never done UT. I read the FIFA thread frequently and get confused with yall talkin becuz im a casual soccer fan, and really only know the big name players. Can a casual soccer fan get into UT? I don't know much bout offense/defense schemes either in soccer. Like team chemistry and shit
Don't listen to
@NAMO
. It's not casual, it's serious fucking business.
Ultimate Team is fun, because it's on going season, that you can continually build on and work up to. Your team starts as shit, and you can slowly build it to be beast... which is fun imo. You can customize the team to how you play. If you play pace down wings, you get a formation, with fast wingers. If you relie on defense, and quick counters, you have 5 backs, and strong front 5.
Essentially you play as a GM to your team. You choose the formation, badge, and uniform. You get coins every game you play, and tournaments you win ect.. Coins are the currency. You need to buy good players for your team, you need to pay you players to play for you, in form of buying them contract.
There is a market aspect to ultimate team, that you can buy player's cheap, and sell them more expensive. It's sort of like collecting trading cards. What ever card you have in your club, you can use when you play people online.
Chemistry is easy, Players from either the same country or league play well together.

If you start a UT club, let me know. I'll get you a few some what ok players to play with. I think a good cheap team, would be an Argentina or Colombian squad.
