it doesn't matter how good they are though. you can't feel so sure they're going to win the Super Bowl. New England went 16-0 and lost in the Super Bowl to a 9-7 team. The Packers went 15-1 and didn't even win in the playoffs.

in other sports where you have to win a 5 or 7 game series it's easier to say who will win, because at the end of the day the best team will usually come out on top in a series. the NFL is any given Sunday and there's so much parody in the league. a key injury or a couple mistakes could completely change a game.

I agree the Niners are one of the best teams in the league, and have a very good shot at winning the Super Bowl, but you can't be sure that it will happen...and that goes for any team
