"the avengers" finally, liked it..

"the warriors" in hd, haven't seen this since i was a lil kid. great watch. found out the very beginning of the the score was sampled by brotha lynch and phonk beta on loaded.

plus the whole n.w.a. "100 miles and runnin'" was inspired by the premise.

beside that i downloaded mike tysons complete career from 1981 to 2006. the fights were great but looking @ the graphics and story lines leading up to the fights it's self made me laugh cause it was hella primitive.

Cosmopolis aka Robert Pattinson's Bang Limo & The Unnecessary Quest For A Haircut

Watched because Cronenberg. Great cinematography and decently acted. Pattinson was better than expected, but not a great movie. It was about 85% fancy dialogue & 15% of stuff actually happening. Unsatisfying ending. Maybe their was some deeper meaning or some kind of social commentary that I didn't really get, but a lot of the movie felt kind of pointless or secondary to the somewhat ridiculous dialogue. Worth seeing once I suppose if you follow Cronenberg. 5.5/10

Red Lights starring De Niro, Sigourney Weaver, Cillian Murphy, Elizabeth Olsen

Okay for a one time watch. Cillian Murphy & Sigourney Weaver try to expose De Niro (someone with "paranormal abilities") as a fraud. De Niro gave a decent performance. Murphy was pretty good. Elizabeth Olsen (Martha Marcy May Marlene, Mary Kate & Ashley's younger sister) was kind of just "there." Not really acting much at all or even looking hot. Okay story. Wouldn't particularly recommend it. 5/10

I thought the Cabin in the Woods was badass! I watched it twice in a row & I rarely ever do that with movies. Slightly cheesy but it felt really fresh in the very stale genre of "horror."
I'm a big horror movie fan and I thought this movie was gonna suck but it was really good, I like how the movie showed every "monster". I'd like to see a pt2 made

I fell asleep twice too! haha. Took 3 days to finish it.

One odd thing happened on the third try. I was getting kinda bored again and noticed my screen was dusty. I drew the word "FUCK" on it with my finger, and immediately Cillian Murphy's character starts yelling "FUCK! FUCK!"

Just a coincidence, of course, but slightly interesting considering the film's subject matter.

peeped out "end of watch" last night...basically its a footage film, documentary style. where these two younger cops, who have a real close relationship...and are all gung ho...start getting themselves deeper and deeper into more shit when they stumble a human trafficking ring and start fucking with cartel operations...their is alot of cliche and sterotypical portrayals of gangsters and people...not to mention cops. some of the situations dont play out too realistically and get far fetched... but overall it's a cool flick to watch, as long as you dont expect too much out of it as far as realism...i would give it a 7/10...but the entertainment value on it is pretty good...and definitely a flick i would watch a few times

not a movie but i got this in the mail today.

j-diggs all star weekend vegas. had me bustin' up the first time. watched it a couple more times and wasn't that amusing. it's o.k.,, not too long but kinda cool to see an inside look @ how they do it.

BUT i just ordered an

...........All Time Classic..............

Lone Wolf and Cub series 1 thru 6.

on Blu-Ray for the first time.

if you don't know i suggest you get hip to it. you won't ever forget after the first time watching.

it's like poetry on film even though it was done in the 70's it kills all movies comin' out nowadays they just don't do it like they used to or ever did.

if you heard gza's liquid swords they sample the main villain. this sick ass shogun.

he sends his sons, ninjas and people with special skills (samurai or female) to kill the main character and his son and They All Get Slaughtered in sometimes funny, sometimes fucked up and twisted ways.

very graphic and even gory.

they just can't fuck with him. if you wanna check it out, look it up on amazon there's like 25 reviews and damn near 98 percent of them are perfect.
