Wow Ward beat the brakes off Dawson with no problem. Ward is P4P #2 no doubt. That's was a elite fighter in the ring and Ward made it easy.

if you're a betting man bigface this would be the perfect fight to bet on since vegas surprisingly has Ward as a huge 4-1 favorite. (IMO it shouldn't be any bigger than 2-1 in favor of Ward).

I admit I can see Dawson winning this fight as well, but he's got to have that hunger and desire for 12 full rounds. No mental lapses like he usually always has throughout fights. Ward is also so versatile, he can fight different ways and adapt on the fly and Dawson tends to get frustrated rather easily.
Hope u didn't lose too much money!!

It wouldn't be hard to give Ward #1 P4P.
His recent list of opponents outshines Floyd's without a doubt. Plus Floyd has been pretty inactive.

Manny is just going downhill and no one is giving Martinez a shot.

Dawson looked like butter in there.

Very true, my boy on FB just said hes #1 P4P and Ward makes a strong case cuz of how many elite fighters hes dominated.

Man what an impressive performance! My dude went in there and did work. Cant believe Dawson quit! I can see Ward moving up to number 2 on the p4p list but not passing Floyd. Also depending on what Sergio does next weekend he could also lay claim to number 2. Wouldnt a Ward/Martinez fight be bananas if Martinez wins next week? WOW! Got Em!!

I guess u didnt read my post above I picked Ward to win by beautiful display of boxing. I was telling bigface if he's confident dawson wins he should bet cuz the odds were high.

anyways, wow what a performance by ward. pure domination. didn't see a tko coming.

I think its official - Ward pound 4 pound #1 in the world. followed by Floyd then pac.

No way he's #1 p4p with Floyd still fighting. #2 is a debate between him and maravilla, but this fight probly pushes him ahead unless martinez can do something similar in his fight.
imo he is. He absolutely dominated the super 6 and destroyed the best light heavyweight in the world. As of recently, that is far greater than what floyd & pac have done. Floyd beat an older cotto and retarded ortiz. Pac should have beat bradley & arguably lost to JMM. I don't care what floyd did 10 years ago. Right now, Ward has been the most impressive fighter on the planet. IMO.

also, until the two divas fight eachother they shouldn't be rewarded with the pound 4 pound spot.

wow at Wards Performance, that was masterful work in the ring. I Knew he had a lot more to his game, he put on a clinic. Dawson wanted to get rough early so Ward just took it to the next level. I dont think weight played a role in this fight for chad, he just got outclassed straight up! ward would do the same to dawson at 175 hes just mentally on another level. Dawson looked lost and confused in the ring after the second, ward took control quick. everyone has a p4p list and Andre Ward is at the top of mines easily. too smart in that ring even rivals Floyd in ring generalship and iq department. Dawson is still the 175 champ but this loss will stay with him for a while, lets see if he can bounce back from this. I want Ward and Martinez to get it on at a catch weight of 163-165, Martinez is getting older and that fight would be huge if he can beat Chavez in dominant fashion.

Ward is the new bernard hopkins man, he has it all. can fight inside (those uppercuts were dope when he had chad on the ropes and chad didn't know what to do), can fight on the outside. He controls the distance and just like bhop, he knows how to completely take away the jab. And like hopkins ward isn't incredibly strong, nor fast, but his ring IQ is off the charts and he knows how to take his opponents best weapon away and use it against them. He can also get nasty if he needs to and do whatever it takes to win.

I still don't think hell be a ppv star. a star in boxing yes, but not a big ppv draw.

the other problem he now faces is lack of opponents. andre dirrell is the only person left at 168, other than Bute, after that Martinez will not go up to 168, and there really aren't any stars anymore at 175.
