MY GS2 CAME WITH "GINGERBREAD 2.3.6"!!!
I UPGRADED TO "ICE CREAM SANDWICH 4.0.3 OVER THE WEEKEND THROUGH THE PREINSTALLED APP "KIES AIR"!!!
I'VE INSTALLED APEX LAUNCHER AND MY SHIT IS BANG'N'!!!
PLUS THE PHONE SPEED AND 4G SPEED IS CRAZY FAST!!!

I upgraded my gs2 to I've cream sandwich, from gingerbread.. I fuckin hated that shit was too slow damn touchwiz was too sensitive
I thought it was crap.. Decided to root my phone to darkside evolution V7 it's based off icecream sandwich and it's fuckin dope runs so smooth
Hella customization know.. Got rid of all useless TMobile crap, and am running go launcher ex it's bad ass.. How is that apex launcher?

YEAH AT FIRST WHEN I UPGRADED, MY PHONE WAS BUGGY, BUT I DID SOME MORE RESEARCH
AND DID A FACTORY RESET PLUS A SOFT REBOOT, AND THE NEXT DAY MY PHONE WAS LIGHTNING!!!
IT MADE ME THINK THAT THE PHONE NEEDED A DAY TO REALLY CALIBRATE THE CHANGE!!!

yeah my boy from t-mobile told me to do a factory reset, but i just said fuck it and decided to root it... that apex sounds pretty much similar to go laucher ex that im using, no issues only one minor thing is it's not syncing correctly with my gmail... idk prolly a bug they need to fix other then that that shit is silky smooth animations, effects all that custom shit

Not really feelin ICS over GB. They removed some of the features i liked and it seems that since i installed ICS, my battery life has reduced even more. I cant go a day without charging this faggot all of a sudden.

I upgraded my Galxy Epic to the SG3 and oh my god this phone is fucking powerful. it runs so smooth and i threw a 64gb sd in there for my music. the screen is alot better and it actually looks really good under the sun too (which the epic did not) got to say this is hands down the best phone out right now. it was a toss up between this and the iPhone but once i put this phone in my hand i knew this was the phone for me. not a fan of HTC.

Good choice, iPhone doesn't even compare to the GS3.

Not any new high end phones, only thing being waited on now is Apple to release something to compete with the GS3 and HTC's EVO LTE/One X/One S But Apple keeps everything under wraps pretty good.

Just updated my RAZR Maxx to ICS. Not really feelin' it, but maybe it'll just take some getting used to. Like I Puko said, it took away some features that I liked. Since I just got this replacement phone, I won't really have a problem with factory resetting it, might try that out later on today, and see what happens.

yeah i've been meaning to do that now that a lot of stable ROMs are starting to hit.

as far as new november phones - if the past couple years are any indication google will release a new nexus phone around that time. there are even rumors that they'll release multiple nexus phones. i would wait until around that time before buying anything new.
