They don't need to replace Braylon for now. Coach Harbaugh prefers heavy packages anyways, so we'll probably see more of Justin Peele, and maybe more two RB sets.


We should also have Kyle Williams and Teddy Ginn ready to go, come playoff time. That is a full 3 weeks from now (granted we beat St. Louis on Sunday) so it gives them time to adjust. Hopefully, Delanie will be ready for our playoff game! He has become a vital part of our offense.



Fun 49er Fact:

In his last 20 starts, Alex Smith has thrown 24 TD passes vs just 6 INT's, and throughout that 20 game span, is 15-5.

Just goes to show, that his improvement, whatever it was...dated back from the end of last year...so I definitely think the 49ers would be wise to lock him up for at least another 2 or 3 years, unless Kaepernick makes some miraculous leap, which is not likely. Oh yeah, Drew Brees may not return to NO either :)

New Orleans GM Mickey Loomis and Brees have failed to reach an agreement on a contract extension for the Saints QB. Brees recently announced that he was ending contract discussions with the Saints until the season is over.


For whatever that's worth.

There's no way Brees leaves NO. He did the smart thing by ending contract negotiations until the end of the season and avoiding any distractions. That's a team player right there

Actually, that's what's most likely to happen. Coach Harbaugh loves his Jumbo packages, and without Delanie Walker, they're gonna need a big thumper. Plus, Reuland is from Stanford and knows the playbook pretty well.

I'd like to see what this 6'4 260lbs beast can bring!

Need some help. Going to the Niners Divisional Playoff game (assuming we get by the Rams) and I'm also scheduled to work that weekend. So basically my question is:


Assuming we get the #2 seed, does anyone know which day we will be playing on? Whether it's Saturday January 14th or Sunday the 15th?

I can't find info online that makes any sense. Thanks in advance!
