I know the last Android OS update was awhile ago, but my Droid X has been hella buggy since then.

The main problem I've had is sometimes the sliders to unlock the phone/control ring mode completely disappear and I have to reboot it.

Another problem, is that is will just randomly reboot itself.

Anyone else have any problems since the update?

I recommend doing a hard reset after the latest Droid X software update. 8/10 phones I've seen after the update need to have it done, works cherry after.

im seriously considering dropping sprint now....the service is almost a joke....seems like 45% of my calls drop out or my phone switches to roam mode all the time....texting is getting awful too...always goes message undelivered or some other sms radio interference error....sprint doesnt know what the fuck to do...the solution they always tell me to try is remove the battery and try again...seriously? thats a poor solution to the problem...im not trying to do that daily....

can i take my evo 3d over to metro and have it flashed to metro? what will i lose as far as phone functions?

Can they replace your phone under warranty? I'd try that before switching. Switching your service from sprint to metro will save you money, but it won't solve your service issues at all. In fact you will probably go bat shit crazy dealing with their network.

i dont know why people keep saying metro service is bad? ive never had any issue with service...

but after further thought...i remembered metro doesnt have 3G...so more than likely my data speeds would be 1X and 4G in 4G areas only...and also wifi

1X wont cut it for me.....so hopefully i can figure out why i get these errors occasionally

ive done PRL updates, and even sprint walked through some thing where i changed a number within the phone...it helped but hasnt fixed the problem 100%

I'm still new to this whole Android smart phone shit, so can you tell me how to do a hard reset?
