i guess break bad was the wrong term to use, more like, lose himself and turn into a sociopath
i see what you mean but Jesse is far from sociopath. i just think he's losing his identity and he's not quit sure what he is anymore. you see him all cold blooded staring down gus and talking about it at breakfast like it wasnt shit, but then you see him surround himself with people 24/7 to get his mind off it and once there gone he breaks down and cries. i dont think he will become a sociopath but if he does then shit walt will have to take him out lol.

You can't have blood in every episode guys. This episode shows the complex, detailed writing and acting. Marie and her kleptomaniac ways is now becoming a chronic liar, Skyler is really starting to become very comfortable in Walt's new world, and Saul and his bodyguard were solid comedy (I'm glad the rumors of Saul's demise were greatly exaggerated). Jessie continues to freefall into his meth-world hole. I think Hank is going to show Walt the lab notes binder and we saw that next episode Mike is telling Gus about Walt's new business acquisition (glad to see Mike didn't take out Gus). This episode is a solid jumping off point for whatever craziness is in store the rest of the season.

Who said anything about it needing blood? The episode was just more or less all filler, nothing more. The only thing that we got out of it is that they got the Car Wash and that Hank ended up getting Gale's lab notes because of his wife's kleptonmania. I mean it was a good episode, it wasn't bad by any means, but minus those two things we already knew everything else going on. The writing and acting were great, there was some really funny moments, I think it had some of the best cinematography so far this season but overall it was a filler episode and there really is no denying that. Like I said this show hardly ever has them, but this was one of them.

Saul/Walt/Skyler brainstorming scene and Jesse asking Walt if he wants to go go-karting with him were funny as fuck though.

Episode was alright even if it didn't drive the story forward by much at all. Speaking of cinematography, is it me or have they been focusing on that less since season 3? I checked IMDB and after season 1-2 they changed art directors and cinematographers a couple of times, so that makes sense I guess, the OG crew really swagged it out tho.

i honestly feel these episodes are to draw us closer with the characters. so when bad shit happens to them you feel it. it brings you into there world outside of the meth and violence to see what they're going through. they usally have 2 or 3 episodes like this so i expect atleast 1 more.

^^if you're brand new to the show then yeah they tend to do this with every season so maybe this aint the show for you. i think the people at jesse's house is just to emphasize just how bad of shape jesse's in. the fact he has straight up animals crashing there doing that shit and he's brushing it off like nothing. trust me these writers dont do shit for no reason and it will all unfold. but season 3 was just like this aswell as season 2. just sayin...

Ever since he murdered that guy, Jesse starts to lose it when hes by himself. Theyre trying to show us his character is extremely disconnected/ troubled and as long as people are in his presence, stealing, vandalizing or just hangin around, he doesnt have to think about whats goin on outside of that world. I dont think ive ever seen him ask Walt to hang out after work, let alone to go Go-Karting.

It was a slow episode for me too, though. Not a fan of Skylar.
