I believe what u originally had was "Korean Fried Chicken". I've been looking for a authentic spot that makes it in P-O but I have yet to find one.

Korean fried chicken is fried chicken prepared in Korean style. This dish is a fast-growing new trend in the United States. It is traditionally eaten as fast food, at bars, or as an after meal snack in Korea. It is not often consumed as a meal.[1] Korean Fried Chicken restaurants are springing up in metropolitan cities worldwide.[citation needed]

Korean fried chickens are prepared in a way that removes the fat from the skin, resulting in a crust described by Julia Moskin of The New York Times as a "thin, crackly and almost transparent crust." The chickens are usually seasoned after being fried. In South Korea chickens are relatively small, so Korean fried chicken restaurants fry whole chickens before hacking into bits. In the United States chickens tend to be larger and Korean restaurants find it more difficult to deal with large breasts and thighs. As a result many Korean fried chicken restaurants in the United States usually serve wings and small drumsticks. Pickled radishes, beer, and soju are often served with Korean fried chicken.[1]

yeah, I can't speak on the chicken but they got some bomb deep fried porkchops that are on hit. My folks took me to this little hole in the wall in downtown Oakland. At first I was tripping like WTF is this because we be eating good, he just laughed and said don't trip. He ordered a couple plates over rice and I was sold. But pretty much everything deep fried is bomb.

I've had Korean Chicken and it's bomb as fuck. It's not the same as the one gas one posted but it's damn good. It's smothered in this sauce and the skin is super crunchy
